First, I travel from Canada to Hong Kong by myself all the time to visit my family.

I have to get isle seats. It feels too weird to want to go to the bathroom and the person who sits isle is sleeping beside you. Like do you wake him, pat him, say excuse me, or just..try to squish through? So yeah. No window seats ever for me.

Also..when I sit beside someone, I am ALWAYS scared that person will get sick and PUKE or something. I am ALWAYS so freaked about it. I'm not those people who gets sick when someone does. But know..it's kinda stpid cuz they might puke on you and you'll stink like it for the whole 14 hrs or somethings..

And well i'm sure we're all scared of some crash landing..*touch like 50 pieces of wood cuz im flying in June*

ALSO! Cathy didn't wake me up for my cup noodles last time sad.gif

So..share some plane stories? xD

I went back home by JAL, with a stopover in Japan, obviously. It was okay, I sat with some Indian people beside me, they had a mentally challenged son that kept yelling. I thought he was just being annoying at first but it clicked to me that he isn't. I felt bad asking them to move over cuz twice I had to pee. And twice again because I ate so much food before the plane took off and my stomach just went haywire. I had the window seat. Wasn't that bad. From Japan to home, I was alone in my row, on a windowseat. I slept again ahahaha

Going back, I sat in the middle row cuz the flight to Japan was packed. I sat between two Japanese guys, a senior and a mid 20s, early 30s one. I was kinda embarassed cuz I kept shifting from side to side when I slept cuz I didn't get that much sleep. And my mouth was open LOL =x. But going back to Canada, I had the window seat again BUT I soon found out that I had the 3-seats row to myself and noticed there wasn't that much people, so I raised the armrests and lied down like it's a couch. Most comfortable and warmest flight evar LOL.

I hate sitting on the aisle seat because I hate it when people have to crawl over me to go to the bathroom. I just find it so awkward and I don't normally use the bathroom on planes so I prefer sticking with the window seat, even if it is a little cold.
I also hate trying to sleep in a plane. It's really hard for me because I want to tilt my chair back but I don't want to squish the person sitting beside me, even if the person in front of me is squishing me. Haha, I just feel so bad and I end up sleeping uncomfortably with my chair at a 90 degree angle.
The hum of the engine is really annoying and it makes it difficult to sleep and I really don't like how much my ears pop during flights. \: The first time I got on a plane my ears popped so much I started crying because it was so painful. It sucked~

Haha, apparently I hate a lot of things about flying, but honestly I really love riding in airplanes. (:

I've been to TEXAS alone on a plane... omg xD Most criminal state I heard? Neways, I did not want to inform myself before going there to not scare myself out xD It was so scary to me... I wasn't even 18 yet, my bday was 1 week after, but still, it felt like some kind of "rite" of passage to adulthood xD I went to TX to visit a music friend ahah, I mean I met him in a music contest back in Washington d.c.

I was supposed to go with my sister, but she ditched me last second!! I was so angry cause I waited for her for so long and now she did not even go with me!! T_T But yeah... I think I looked suspicious to guards, like, a not even 18 girl going alone on a trip to texas from quebec... :s The border guard back to canada asked me who I visited in tx and I told him a guy friend and he was like "ohhhh.... I seeeeeeeeee!!" like whaaaat??? Well, it was just funny. Except that, on the coming back plane, there was a storm, so we left late of 2 hours (I came to the airplane like 3 hours in advance to be sure to not miss the plane (yes, I did not want to get stuck in tx)), and arrived in total late of 6-7 hours in quebec T_T. SO long. Usually I never go to the bathroom on the airplane cause I just don't get how they work xD aaaah im so lame. And it was only the second time I was traveling by plane... I was next to a bald overweight guy on the flight back, but there was a free spot between us thankfully :x I did not want to disturb him or anything... He was nice though at least... But the company, AA, was very cheap, they did not even offer a dinner or free snack for us, who were all starving since 1 pm (when the plane was scheduled to leave) and came to our destination at 11 pm!!! that makes a total of 10 HOURS not eating!!! -___- I had barely any money too, I spent all in tx eheh...

The one time I sat with another stranger was when I was coming back from Canada. We were late for our flight, so our seats were given to others. I sat next to a kind grandmother (and felt bad, I cut her off from her in-law and daughter/son and husband in the middle aisle). She offered me a mint. XD

Another time, I was going to Beijing I believe, I sat next to an elderly man. It was a two hour flight (Guangzhou to Beijing) and all he did was sleep and read newspaper. w/e.

I love window seats though. It makes me feel less claustrophobic. It's either the window seat or the aisle seat for me.

IF I get this one scholarship to study abroad, I'll have to travel by myself and I've never gone ANYWHERE before without someone. (Yes, I'm still a kid)
I'm scared I might not be able to find my flight or find my luggages O.o....
but as for seating....I like the window...

I MUST have the window seat. It gives me something to look at. D: Especially if I'm all alone on a plane (just started doing that last summer).

The first time I took a plane by myself, though, I made the mistake of being and eating Panda Express at the same time. >_____>

Just in December, though, I had the WORST plane experience ever. First of all, my first few flights were delayed by snow. The one flight I was about to take (as in, I was already waiting patiently in the gate area), they had suddenly canceled. I had to get my dad to reschedule a new flight (since I'm a wuss), and I was trapped in the airport for several hours. Unfortunately, I don't like flights where you have to switch planes. D: Especially when the plane you have to switch to ASAP is about to leave because the plane you're currently on is late. >___> I had to run my short little self all the way from terminal 3 to terminal 1. I just barely made it. D; (I almost walked off without my luggage the first time, though.)

Well I think it was somewhat scary in general on the plane by myself because I just turned 14 at that time. I was flying to Japan then to Guangzhou.

I had aisle seat as well because I had my *once in a month* so I knew I would use the bathroom a lot.
What sucks is that if you oversleep, some flight attendance do not wake you up or leave you food.

So anyway when I was in Japan to guangzhou, there was literally less than 15 people on the whole plane. There was originally a guy next to me, then he saw there was so much space so he moved and I had the whole row to myself. haha

But there's nothing really bad about being on the plane by yourself, it was more exciting to me. I was pretty satisfied with my first airplane flight by myself as well.

I never been and never will go on a plane by myself (without someone I know on the plane with me).. sad.gif

Just something I don't want to experience. xD Even if it's a 1 hour flight.. no thanks. ^^;

Think it's because I don't want something bad to happen and i'm there by myself and don't know anyone and just.. be scared with no one to comfort me. T_T

The first time I went on a plane I was 12 and I went by myself...anyways I was scared to death haha...and each other time I went on a plane since then Ive been scared to death.

I hate when its supposed to be a smooth flight then all of a sudden turbulence. That just makes my heart race. I hate it.

Oh gosh, I hate the aisle seat! The window seat is the best~ And I hate hate hate short flights. 12+ hour flights are way better, and I rarely get jet lag. Turbulence makes the ride so much more fun too laugh.gif

I guess I'm not really scared of anything... except when they bug you about customs and picking up luggage because I have close to zero strength and two 32kg luggages lol.

Flying to Asia was scary...
I freaked out in Taiwan because I forgot to re-check in my tickets at the
transfer information counter when I got off, and an HOUR before my flight...I had to go
all the way outside of my gate to get my boarding pass, I swear I nearly cried because
I was scared I'll miss my flight & I'll have to wait another 8 hours...security check-in
and all that stuff is just SO annoying and such a hassle. & I can't sleep for my own good
sake on my plane...hate it.
