Sharp Phones In Canada? performance question

i'm planning on purchasing a sharp phone. I have never used one in canada before... so i was wondering how they perform in canada?
i want the Sharp 923SH specifically

I didn't have the exact same, but I had the Sharp 703shf (before it died) and it worked fine for me.
It was already unlocked when it I bought it around 2 years ago.

hmmm both my sisters used the 903sh, and their's worked really well..

that's only cause they had the chinese version of the phone, but i heard the japanese ones suck..
