I'm a HUGE fan (to say the least) of all things iPhone so i thought i would create a topic to consolidate all conversations involving the iPhone whether it's rumors, specs, or Q&A. It's no doubt that the iPhone has revolutionized the US cell phone market far beyond expectations. I will update this first page with iPhone news that i think ya'll should see!

I don't have the iPhone but I'm thinking about getting one. Not the 3G one, but the next one that will be released in June.

AT&T is upgrading their networks just for the iPhone:

Design, ease of use, and plenty of apps.

They're the market leaders and the next iPhone will set the standard again. The competition is just catching up to the iPhone 3G but the next iPhone will widen the gap. Or at least that's what I see.

Cons of jailbreaking is that you could fubar your iPhone and the warranty would be void.

I wish I should've waited to get mine when the new one releases in June. I've always wanted to jailbreak my iPhone but have been too scared that I'll mess up.

I'm glad to see improvements but wish it didn't take so long to wait for the process.

Sorry but this is inaccurate. You can always reset your iPhone if Jailbreaking does not work. It will not just become a dead paperweight just due to Jailbreaking. Also note, Jailbreaking does not void your warranty.

So if I jailbreak an iPhone and get stuck and go to my Apple store, they'll fix it for me?
And you can ALWAYS reset the iPhone?

Just a FYI, if you take your jailbroken mobile to the Apple store, they might scare you into thinking that your warranty is null and they can't do anything about it.

Does anyone know or have heard any strong speculations about the physical
appearance of the new iphone?

From the 2g to 3g they changed the back
do you think they'll change it again lol?

Don't know if it's worth it to wait for the new one in june or just
get the 3g out now.

NOOOOO! WAIT!!!!

I'd wait. If you don't like the new one, you can get a 3G for cheap!

There is actually an application for that but the cost of it is like $4.99. It's called mbox Mail. Apple and Microsoft are competitors but with that app, I'm guessing you can sync your hotmail directly to it. I haven't tried it. I just use gmail and have or change all my hot mail to my gmail.

Other then that I think you can jail break it, I'm not sure or you can google up for ways to get your hotmail to your iphone.

There is a rumor going around that AT&T may cut the monthly bill by $10.
So that is another reason to wait...

^ I heard about cutting the cost of the monthly charge also
but would that apply only if you got the new iphone? No right?

Just have hotmail forward your mail to a gmail account, then push it to your iphone.
