Bringing My Cell To Korea From U.s. what do i have to get it to work?

I'm going to Korea this summer and i feel like theres this thing i can get for my phone that will make it work there without it being roaming...?

did i just pull this out of nowhere or does this exist? ill be there for a month and renting so expensive...

change your plan
like there are plans that you could change it to so you can use it over seas

Change our plan. or get an unlock phone. Some phones from providers even if you have oversea plan, sometimes doesn't work in other countries.

Well if its anything like HK , would there be a pre-paid simcard (assuming your phone uses a simcard)? Like it gives a you a number already and you just have to add value to the sim card and put it in your phone.

There isn't anything you can just "put" into your phone so you won't roam. Its either getting your phone unlocked then using a prepaid SIM card in Korea.

if my phone is t-mobile but i use at&t does that mean my phone is already unlocked?

and how/where do i get a pre-paid sim card in korea? and approx. how much does it cost?

Yes, and I think you can get a prepaid SIM in Korea, but your phone has to be 3G

in korea...like a cell store? or someplace like the airport with the kiosks.?
