Has anyone ever tried these?

They're a Thai dessert. It's really easy to make actually biggrin.gif
Sorry I don't know actual measurements though. I freestyle my ingredients, lol.

All you need is:
1) Tapioca Flour

2) Palm Sugar!

3) Shredded Coconut is optional smile.gif

Just pour in whatever amount of flour depending on how much you want to make and add enough water so the mix is the consistency of like, melted marshmallows. Crush the sugar into tiny pieces. Roll the dough into tiny balls and insert 1-2 (depending on how big the chunk of sugar is) pieces of the palm sugar and roll it up! Cook it in boiling water and when it floats to the top you're done! I'd recommend taking it out almost right after it floats up so when you eat it, you get that nice crunchiness of the sugar smile.gif

Mmm. I think I'm going to make some this weekend.
Enjoy! biggrin.gif

I guess you could say they're like sugar-filled mochi, haha. (:
& yeah there's another kind of riceball dessert with the riceballs in some sort of brown sugar soup. That's good too, lol

Vietnamese has something similar to this too. Basically, it's almost like a mochi..in syrup.
