Hey guys just wanted your opinion in this saying whether you believe it or not?
it goes:
"if a man and a woman can remain friends after breaking up,
either they are both still in love, or they never were."
Say for instance you break up with them because you had to i.e because of long distance or family issues but you still loved them. You ask to remain as best friends because the thought of losing all of them and walking away is unbearable.
do you think that it is possible to fall back in love with them after some time?

yes it is possible but it all depends on the 2, asking, do they want to get back with each other? do they still love each other like before?
at times feelings change, or that you think you still love them but actually it isn't the same kind of love anymore.

As for me...Once it is over, it is over.
People break up for a reason. Even if that reason was for an unusual circumstance like LDR or family issues. If love was really that strong and true, the two involved would have found a way to stay together because, where there is will, there is a way.

I'm sure it's possible but personally I wouldn't want to be friends after a breakup. Once you date someone the dynamics of a relationship will change and you can never go back to what it was before.

hmmmmmmmmm........
i think they still do love each other even though things arent going so well but still frriends and close.......chyeah....they still like each other but it depends how they put efforts in the relationship like communicating. But yeah feelings do changed too.

I agree w/ plegend2007. Exs are exs for a reason. I don't believe you can be friends. People say well what if the situation was different. My opinion is no one wants their current b/f or g/f talking to their exs. It complicates things. People change and so do feelings.
