All right so my latest exbf broke up with me awhile ago and for brief span of time I was enjoying single life. Surprisingly I wasn't too depressed by the whole "I'm sorry I can't stay together with someone who won't give up the poontang." He can't wait. Too john teshing bad. Only marriage will allow him into my gated community. 'Til then it's a no fly zone. Anyway, a friend of mine tries to cheer me up by...dragging me to her church. Now I'm not much of a church goer, mainly because of that whole 'atheist' thing I seem to be afflicted with, but I was a little hungover and incoherent and she is a manipulative bastard so I found myself sitting on one of those comfy benches around a bunch of people I probably don't have much in common with. Yippee! Okay, so as I'm sitting there listening to the God-Jesus talk and looking around when I find that my eyes have become glued to a very tall, very blond, very handsome man-boy person and all I can think of is 'wow, I wouldn't mind lifting my flight restriction for him.' (Wtf is up with all the plane references.) Yeah, I know highly inappropriate for church, but he was that good looking. Okay so like an hour or so passes...actually, I'm not really sure how long I spent my time sitting and standing up and clapping and sitting down again, but when it was over everyone starts filing out and/or mingling with eachother.

A few people come over to talk to me because I wasn't exactly a regular like everyone else and they wanted to just be friendly. I try to be friendly and do the small chat thing when my friend decides to drop the 'A' bomb on them. Great. Now I'm getting drilled. I look for anything to change the subject of my 'lack of belief' when I blurt out 'who's the blond guy over there?' Woo! Tact. I immediately start walking over to him and regretting it at the same time especially because the closer I get, the taller he gets. I swear he was like 6'6 or something. Felt like a midget. When I finally reach him, he turns and smiles at me. Floored. He says, 'you must be new.' I say, 'you're tall.' Yeah, straight to the point. I wasn't thinking straight. It was early. And Sunday. Damn. Anyway, we manage to get a conversation rolling ( a lot of it strangely enough consisted of fishing) and somehow it leads to me asking him if he's hungry and if wanted to go get something...with me. He accepts my proposal and BAM! Since then we've become bf/gf. And to my utter shock he doesn't believe in sex, any form of it, before marriage. Orly? *pats self on back* Ged jrb. Okay that was my story of how I got my current chaste bf.

My story is quite typical. My bf and I just happened to share similar classes in high school. He was a bit of a slacker stoner type back then, but really smart when he bothered to pay attention. He also happened to look like the lead singer out of this Icelandic hardrock band that I was into at the time. It turned out we both like to draw. So that's how we became friends I think. And the rest is history as they say.

I met my boyfriend... about 17 years ago, we used to go to kindergarten together and we moved to different cities in second grade. I meet him again in high school, but his situation is different, he attends a school that is basically attached to mine. (kinda difficult to explain). anywho, we played this rpg called ragnarok online with a bunch of other friends for awhile now, and I played with him alot. lol then we started talking more and more again, and I guess things hit off from there =P

Well M and i have a mutual friend.
She went to high school with me. And she met him recently because they went to college together.
Our mutual friend decided to plan a get-together with all her old high school friend and her new college friends.
So we went to go watch Quarantine, but M was late.
We were already seated in the theater, and he had two places to choose seating.
Either beside me, or beside our mutual friend who was with her boyfriend.
He didn't want to be feeling like a third wheel during the whole movie, so he came and sat next to me.
I introduced myself, and I thought he was cute, but I had no initial attraction.
During the previews of the movie, he started making perverted comments which was a complete turn-off.
So immediately I was thinking "who is this guy ... and seriously what's the matter with him?!"
I was definitely UNattracted to him.

After the movie, we went to get from frozen yogurt.
And after that we all headed to the park.
When we got to the park, we started playing games.
However, everyone had to go home by 11pm.
But I really didn't want to go home.

So everyone left, and it ended up being only me and M.
At first I was totally skeptical about staying with a guy I just met ... alone ... at night ...
But it was either I stay with him (I didn't have a car) or go home now.
And I really didn't want to go home, so I half-reluctantly stayed with M.

We ended up talking till 1am.
It was just instant chemistry.
When we got time alone and just talked about everything, he was so open, and I easily became comfortable.
And the more I got to know him, the more I realized he was my type.

And now we've been dating for almost half a year. :]
Haha. It's so funny how I was not attracted to him at all, and now he's the perfect guy for me :]

We met on Craiglist. We went to Panera for coffee and then the movies. After he made dinner for me and made sure I got home soon after. I know what people say about meeting on the internet but in this case it worked for me. We've been together for 6 months.

Me and my hubbs meet from another friend but not really. At first i was waiting at the bus with another friend and i see one of my other friends come and wait for the bus with 'some guy' we werent really talking we were just standing together cos the friend i was with earlier already took the train. Me my other friend with some guy' got on the different train, i just needed to get off at the next stop and so did that 'some guy' and then we just started to talk about where we were going then we introduced each other and he told me some pretty nasty things about his past about he just got outta jail and wat not even tho i just met him, we only walked for a bit until we had to go different ways. But when we seperated i was all THANK GOD cos i thought he was INSANE for telling me that hes been to jail for some nasty mini cooper, i was like phew its a good thing ill never have to talk to him again. Few days later he adds me on facebook, now im thinking that we'll just add each other and were not gonna talk, just friends. Then he has to msg me, me thinking again he just asks 'hey do you remember me haha' then i msgd back yeah i remember you. and then he kept on talking and im like omg please stop talking to me your crazy. but i just went with it and kept on talking to him and then we started to txt each other..then calling each other..then seeing each other..then who would of known..now were DATING!
me and him are complete opposite but im so glad i got to know him cos hes really the sweetest guy ive ever met and on the ouside hes a real tough guy but i feel so special that im the only one who gets to see his soft and inner side

story:
I went to church with my dad one day and he forced me to go to Sunday School, where I saw him for the first time (I remember thinking he was hot, but I didn't talk to him that day). Anyway, almost everyone at Sunday School had been going to that church since birth practically, so I guess new people don't come around that often, but anyway, everyone was so friendly and nice that I just came to church the next week and the youth group had this thing planned after school on a Friday night where we got together all dressed in black and took these things called "flour bombs" (basically pantyhose filled with flour, so that it marked you when you got hit) and played capture the flag in the woods. It was pitch black and kinda creepy but SO fun and that's when we sorta ran into each other. The funny thing is that we were talking and stuff and I was thinking "wow.. this guy's pretty funny, but I don't recognize his voice..." (we had never talked before) and then when we were walking back towards the cars I finally saw his face and I was like *silently jumping for joy* "See you Sunday!"

And it just sorta went from there.
