what was your gpa, and what did you consider to be a good gpa?

in my school, WEIGHTED GPA IS BASED ON THIS SCALE:
FOR EVERY HONORS CLASS YOU EARN AN "A" IN, YOU GET 5 POINTS
FOR EVERY REGULAR CLASS YOU EARN AN "A" IN, YOU GET 4 POINTS



HONORS AND AP CLASSES:
A- 5PTS
B- 4PTS
C- 3PTS
D- LETS NOT TALK ABOUT THAT.

REGULAR:
A- 4PTS
B- 3PTS
C- 2PTS
D- LOL...



it has always been my understanding that this is the way most high schools do the wgpa system.

4.0/4.0 if your going by the 4.0 scale....although with AP classes it was like a 4.3

I was on a 4.5 scale...
A+ 4.5
A 4.0
B+ 3.5

And so on... AP's added +1 to the value.

Unweighted was 4.43, weighted was 4.76. Parents flipped all over that... *too low* *not meeting our expectations* *not doing your best*

With the A.P classes I was taking, my GPA after my senior year was 4.3/5.0 .... or possibly higher ... haha it's been a while.

but this poll isn't very accurate since we all use different grading systems.

dang when I look at the GPA u listed like 4.0 and up i was like u kidding me...
lol
even i try soo hard to get 4.1..but never did.
lol..
my weighted GPA is 3.83..i consider a 3.5 good already.
if unweighted then it is 3.92.

sorry, but your post is FAIL.

so schools don't AP courses that much extra credit, ie 4.0 is as high as you can go.

at my school we had something like 15 valedictorians, and from what i know, none of them had anything over a 4.0.
i write an important thing, and do not let's finish. a way of writing for freedom.
