Being asian, I have rice everyday, but I feel like there's always the SAME THING IN MY REFRIDGERATOR.
there's always eggs and dried seaweed so I always eat
scrambled eggs, rice with seaweed, kimchi, sometimes fried rice.
it's the same thing everyday.
and lately, I feel like my system's rejecting it since I eat the same thing everyday.
and yeah, you can say just go out and buy new food, but sadly, I don't do the grocery shopping around here.
does anyone else feel this way?
just a little bit flustered is all.

hmmm... you can also make.. omurice! Look at that! 1 more things to eat! haha

jk.. I think you need ketchup or tomato sauce for that.. well actually if you want to eat something new, you're just going to have to go groceries shopping or get someone to go for you. Even basic ingredients like butter, chicken, beef, mushrooms, etc. can really bring variety to your meals.

I'm asian, but it doesn't mean I'm going to restrict myself to rice everyday.

i'm asian and my fridge is filled with those things but i don't eat the same thing?
just eat like ramen or something LOL. or make egg soup or something.
you'll eventually have to go grocery shopping if you want something new though...

Haha I have the opposite thing - I'm currently practicing my cooking for uni, so I've been making something different every day for weeks.
I want to eat the same thing every day but I need practice xD

Anyway, try mixing things up a little.
Or, if you don't go grocery shopping, do it anyway if you're free sometime =] (or go with whoever usually does)
It's not as mundane as some people make it out to be - plus, you get to decide what goes in your food, and it can actually be interesting ^^
Try it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed ^^

I totally second that.
or just ask your mom/dad to buy different things!

I love grocery shopping though, so I've never had this problem.

yeah it feels like it's get repetitive. It's probably because of the seasonings that i prefer to use. My fix is every so often eat fast food sad.gif Ideally make a new dish or use a new recipe.

i basically eat the same food every day too
not rice tho., but salads, sandwiches, fruits...
everyday is like fruits, yogurt, sandwiches, salads, then more fruits, yogurt, salads, along with some proteins
the only difference is broth-based soup, different soup each day

At the same time, when I go to a friends house to eat, its like -- DIFFERENT *____*

I eat rice everyday..but not the same thing, always diff side dishes. Lol.
o__O; but if there's left overs and a lot of it. I could be eating that for 1-2 weeks ohmy.gif.
Then again, I only eat dinners now.

But I'm not tired of it :c.

Sometimes I do feel that way. Then I'll just tell my mum to not cook rice and change alternately... perhaps noodles or pasta.
If your mum or whoever doesn't want to change the menu, then tell them not to cook your share and maybe you could get something else yourself? lol. I do that sometimes. tongue.gif
