Of course i don't! I don't like judgemental people and i don't bother being friends with them.

But i have been looked down before as being dumb, and they alway's a confident booster. I like to prove people wrong, so like for once, i wasn't smart at history. And my teacher put me at the bottom class. So what did i do? .. I worked really hard on it, and at the end, i kept jumping from classes to the top class. and i ace my essay and ace the exam! .. Great! .. and actually i liked the subject, i just wasn't smart at it.

Alright let me first answer the question: No, NORMALLY people don't like the people that look down on them.
But wow can I just say this forum is full with people and their problems. Resorting to forums instead of their close friends/family for help/answers. Just like the post below this one about a grandma dying. This is becoming crazy lol

I just don't understand why people have a problem with me speaking in Chinese with friends in Cheesecake Factory/Olive Garden/Omaha Steak etc.... They give us the look, "Speak English, this is America." You know when they constantly give you stares from the other table and then start talking to people with their eyes still staring? .... Like who ever said America's official language is English? That law never passed.....

no one likes people that looks down on oneself, someone that looks down on somebody is because of jealousy or being immature.
if anyone looks down on me, i obviously wont care because there's this saying" if you can't stop thinking about something, then maybe it's something "
if you have nothing bad about you to look down on for any reason, no need to spend your time thinking about something that its not even true.

but at times you can't stop thinking about it, because you worry why they criticized you that way and such- oh well that's life.

People in my orchestra (everyone's straight A students who do nothing but literally study during class) look down on me. Especially my stand partner and that sets me off so bad. I'm not as smart as her, my classes aren't as hard as hers, but she's always saying how I probably always have free time considering I do nothing in school because I'm not in AP. Well excuse me, I have to work all the damn time to pay my bills when she gets "luxury" items that I work for, for free. So while she's up nerding it out, I'm bending my back trying to make money to pay the bills on time.

So yes, I do hate getting looked down upon.

they give good motivation. i agree with that. we may be pissed at them for looking down on us, but because of that we gain motivation to prove them wrong. when i was in grade school i was a part of the best section aka the smartest of the bunch. i know that i'm not a genius so i have to work hard. most of my classmates are grade-conscious people who would ignore you if you're not that smart. so i worked hard and studied well so that i can prove them wrong. <3 of course not all of 'em are like that; my best friends were from the same section.
