I have blank CDs that are labeled 80 min/700 mb, and I was wondering if that means it'll hold until it reaches one of the limits or what. Like, would it only let me burn 80 min/60 mb [that's what the numbers are when I make a playlist on iTunes to burn] or can I burn several hours/700 mb and it'll fit? Oh, and I want to burn the music onto the CD as audio, not mp3. D:

As cd audio you will just get the 74 or 80minutes
If you burned it as a DATA cd, and stored the MP3s you will get about 10 hours.

to clarify what awdark stated, it depends on what type of CD you create. the 80min / 700 Mb simply states that you can either burn 80 minutes worth of music on a STANDARD music CD format, or 700 Mb worth of information (Data / Etc). however, with MP3 burning technology, you can burn 700 Mb worth of music (close to about 10+ hours) in MP3 format.
I make and sell (CAT-5E w/ RJ45 connectors) network cables for cheap! If you want to request a length of network cable, send me a PM or message me on AIM (see my profile), i can make both standard and crossover cables! All cables are tested to ensure they work before being sent out.

the thing is...when i had a mp3 cd portable player...it doesnt play a cd that has over 80mins of songs but when i put the cd that has over 80 mins of songs into a cd/dvd drive such as in cars and computers...it plays.
so...to be able to play the cd using a mp3 cd portable player...the total length of songs has to be < = 80 mins.

It could be your CD burning software. you have to make sure to specify that it is an MP3 cd and not a DATA or standard MUSIC. my suggestion would be to go with NERO express. it's free and VERY user friendly.
