I have a friend and shes really annoying, she always talks about this guy whom she fluctuates with. One second shes all happy about him, and the other second shes sad because she thinks they dont click well at all. Their conversations turn out really awkward because hes quite different from her and usually they dont have that conversation flow? Shes really edgy around him, and shes a very shy person but she likes going out to places as long as he is there (e.g a place called burwood in sydney which was SUPER duper not as fun as other places you can go to in NSW, Australia) i Dont know why she tries so hard? I dont know.. is it possible to like somebody you dont click well with? Like no conversation flow and you dont feel so comfortable around them because every move she (you) makes, shes worried of embarassing herself. She also dislikes showing that she likes them because shes always seeing rejection as an endpoint of the friendship. Its annoying. She talks about him so much, but shes really quiet and different, shes not herself when shes around him. Usually shes all high and all, really talkative and she clicks really well with people, but around him.. shes kind of not as fun? I dont know.. argh hope she doesnt see ahaha =X
But yeah, main point:
is it possible to like somebody although you feel non conversation flowy and your really not urself? =X ..
wouldnt he think shes boring, because i know he likes girls that talks alot, but she doesnt seem to work her magic around him =S.. IF THEY DID GO OUT!! wouldn't he be bored?.. or she would =S.. eh i dont know lol..

So both of them are not dating, so its just a crush? I guess it is normal to feel shy around your crush but maybe at some point she will feel more comfortable around him and hopefully open up cos i don't think anyone could be shy around a person for soo long..

wow. perfect timing. i just got out of a relationship like that. its just not meant to be.. advice your friend that in the end its not going to work out if they dont click. the first and most important thing a relationship must have is understanding.. if their personalities dont click, then its a no. she THINKS she likes him, but really, i think she is after the chase. they shouldnt be running out of things to talk about =x

my side of the story is im really really talkative and the guy i was with isnt. i dont really know what i was thinking. we were from two different worlds. im super sociable and hes the cocky kind of guy. i used to hate him b/c it always made me wonder why the hell he was so cocky when he had nothing to be cocky for. haha. sorry for the irrelevance

Tell your friend to go for it and have fun, life is all about learning. If this is a mistake, then let her learn from this mistake, remember this is her life, let her make her own decisions. I currently like someone who has 0 compatibility with me, it may end up bad, but my gut feeling is telling me to stick with it, after all what is the worst that can happen?

You don't have to talk nonstop to get along with someone. My bf and I are often very quiet and the conversations are often one sided but it doesn't mean we don't like each other or shouldn't be together. We don't "click" at all most of the time but I enjoy his company. If she likes him and he likes her that's all there really is to it.
