That happened to me for prom. Well I rejected him before I found out I was the second choice so...anyways I was annoyed yet I didn't really care that much cause he was ..nothing (:

women often see a perfect guy. but for some reason it doesn't happen.

I hate being a second choice. It makes you feel so unimportant, like you're a rebound or something. As if, "It that don't work out, than i'll JUST go with the other."

I was upset. This guy used to play alot of games. He gives me sign he likes me which he does but then later he would call me to ask for another girls number. Turns out he likes her and me. I ended up going out with him but because of me not being ready and knowing that he has another girl besides me before made me feel upset and angry. I couldn't deal with it and it bothered me for a while. I guess I like to be someones no.1 not 2

i'd be perfectly fine lol as long as its not someone i liked/was interested in. actually i dont think i'd care if its for prom or something like that haha i know many people who have seconds for prom and tell the person they're their second.
cuz (to me) its saying you're a friend so i would like to take you but if someone i like more than a friend appears, i would rather take the person.

BUT if its not prom/etc then i'd probably be like why'd you bother telling me this? be hurt. then move on. cuz i (will believe that) can do better lol i want to be someone's FIRST choice!

I feel that second choices = they don't have pure feelings for you, so I wouldn't even dare trying to be their second choice.
Like girls, guys don't want to their second choice, or should I say, the leftovers on the dinner table.

It happened to me before, and it was also my first relationship. My ex actually told me about liking another girl first so I actually was grateful he at least was honest. I liked him quite a bit and tried to tolerate and accept the fact that I was just a second choice. Boy, it wasn't easy, not on my end. Turned out my ex was a tyranny who wanted everything done his own way and he even tried to morph me into that first girl he liked. The end result was sour, very sour. But I learned from my lesson. I mean, being 2nd choice isn't always a bad thing, but make sure that both you and the other person understand this well and like each other genuinely.
