So guys, would you prefer a girl who had a personality like a guy say she didn't complain often, she laughs at guy's dirty jokes and doesn't tell you off for being dirty but goes along with it, she'll hangout anywhere you hang out and eat whatever you eat and doesn't care about how much calories it is, is not corny etc

or would you prefer someone who didn't think too much like you?

I'm exactly like what you described. My boyfriend loves that I can be laid back like a guy and make dirtier jokes then him, he once told me that I'm the girl version of him. But at the same time I can be really girly and emotional. Thing is if a girl is too much like his homeboys he would start to feel like he's dating a guy.

That'd be tight if she was chill you know? but if it feels like she's just another guy, then i wouldn't date her. She still needs to be feminine even though she has some characteristics of a guy.

I agree.. gotta have some characteristics just so we can get along with them but cant be full blown guyish or else that's just a turn off. Girls who act cute and pretty sometimes with a mix of gaming/athletics/dirty humor is near perfect though, imo.

I don't think guys would like girls that act like guys. Guys like to feel manly too. And if the girls act too much like a guy, they would feel like they are only going out with one of the "guys". but if your saying that the girl , likes to play video games, and are able to hang out with his friends and fit in, then he would probably think that is "hot". And they would be attracting.

maybe not dirty jokes though... Guys like innocent girls too you know.

innocent = cute?

On a friendship level, there's nothing wrong with that.
On a romantic level - then it can be a turn off if the girl is pretty much a guy in a girl's body.
Men want to feel like men, and [straight] men, want well... a girl haha.

I don't mind some of the traits, but that is it.

I don't want to feel like I am dating one of my buddies huh.gif

A gal should also be feminine as well.

I mean, would any gal really date a guy who was feminine all the time?

I'm a girl and I have a few friends like that, and they are the easiest to get along with. tongue.gif
However, they struggle to have guys see them "romantically". haha

Although acting like a guy TO AN EXTENT can be seen as a turnon, like girls who don't complain, whine, blab, etc...yanno the way girls act biggrin.gif

hahha i've had a majority of my guy friends tell me that i'm unlike other girls coz i'm chill nd laid back, but at the same time, i'm still girly and keep up with my looks ya kno? it's like any other girl, excluding the drama. i've been told by a couple of guy friends that i'm their favorite too lol.. some guys could never see me as dating type since they look at me like a sis, but others have pursued me ever since i became single, despite the fact that they're frat bros and real close with my last ex, which is how i met most of my guy friends. so i think it really depends on the person nd how they view you.

it really depends on the guy. i mean, i know some guys prefer girls to be more tomboyish because they can talk easily. as ive said, it depends.

I have to admit, I'm boyish but I'm also feminine at the same time.
Haha, and I laugh at dirty jokes I don't go all EWW.

My guy friends are all cool with me.
I had like 2-3 of them ask me out, because of that. mellow.gif

it's weird. with my guy friends they always treat me as one of them as compared to my female friends [we all hang out in a groupie] that at one point- they just wanted to chill with me alone..because they say girls are complicated and im like "THANKS I THINK" but then they r like "well not u" lol

& also cuz i play video games (&BEATTHEM) and im pretty good at beer pong, and i can take a joke.. in fact i think sometimes i crack on them more then they crack on me O_o"

but then i am a tiny person & am pretty girly [ 5 fters FTW ] so im like half & half. & im fragile o_o"
but it's cute cuz although me & them are just like cool like that... as if im one of the guys.... they take care of me like im a girl.
bc i am so weetawded..

oh, and i can eat like a man also. LOL i know :[ it's bad.

Having those traits doesn't necessarily mean the girl has "boy" personalities. I'd say more of a laid-back and carefree personality. That would be awesome for a girl to have... But most of the girls are bean pie and suck-up brats. Nah im just kidding but some girls are like that and it's a major turn off.

I'd love to have a girl how you'd describe. Would make me feel so comfortable.

that is so true, sometimes but not always, guys tend to see you more as one of their 'guy' friends and then it sets up this whole friends only thing

one of the girls i hang out with is like that. She has her feminine side but there are times she can be a badass and act like such a guy. She has a laugh when she's around the guys and their talking about dirty things and is always up for a game or two on the psp. It's actually quite fun to hang around and be with a girl who can chill and is able to have fun doing guy things and not always complaining.
