I'm a guy and I like this girl...

...my question is: how would you act if you girls like a guy?

...and how can guys differentiate being friendly from...liking?

Massive giggling, laughing at his 'jokes', laughing at ... anything. SMILING... at anything... staring into his deep eyes for a long time... and then go '..what?' and have him repeat it again.

OH, and if she stares at your lips a lot and licks her lips.... dang some boys have nice lips.

this is a such a bad habit but..

when i feel attracted to someone I act more nonchalant. I dont talk to the guy or look at him. i act more or less uninterested in him. even after he approaches me, i remain reserved. maybe its just a reflex from my past experiences.
so yeah, some girls, if they act abnormally disinterested in you, it might be because they like you.

theres no actual way to find out or how she acts ; the best way you can know for certain is if you ask her

And when I like a guy? Oh Gosh. It's EXTREMELY obvious -- even my friends agree! I usually blush when he's around, stare at him a lot (then immediately turn if he looks my way), I befriend his friends so I get a sense of what he's like through his friends (and also to have them accept me), I wouldn't stop talking about him, I happily sigh if he passes by, I smile a lot when he's around... yeah.

Sometimes when I like a guy, I tend to smile a lot more when he's around. There's also times I'll talk to him more, too.

i think everybody acts a little differently from everyone else ?

for me, when i like someone instead of looking at him all the time , and talking to him, i do the opposite. XD
i dont know why but it just happens...like i cant look the person in the face , i dont talk to them much, im all nervous and fidgety, i end up avoiding them sometimes, i usually dont face in their direction, i avoid their gaze, when i do talk to them i usually dont know what to say, i get a little mean (when im jealous & stuff), i TRY to hint that i like them with words,and when i DO gaze at the guy i like....when he's not looking in my direction and if he looks back i turn around right away.(so if you catch a girl looking at you then she turn around right away when you look...that might mean she likes you?) XD

how to tell if shes just wants to be friends...hmm, she doesnt flirt with you, she hangs out and acts "nicer" to another guy (the one she might like)....hmm i guess you can already figure out by the way they act around you, how they talk to you & their body language.

the looking at him and then turning away immediately when i catch him looking at me is true! well at least that's what i would do. lol. besides that, i think i'm a little bit of everything that everybody else has said above. sometimes i can't contain my smile in front of him but sometimes i act all nonchalant, like i can't be bothered about him. but if you see her everywhere you go, or at places that u usually hang out at but have never seen her before, then thats probably a sign too.

as for differentiating between being friendly and being flirty... the way i would do it is, with guy friends, i tend to be a little bit 'like the boys'. i'm not as careful as i am with my words or with my behaviour if i'm with a guy friend. but with the guy i like, i'd be all pretty and proper and trying to please him.

I'm the shy a quiet type
and if I like a guy I just tend to give him quick glimpses, which sometimes turn into stares.
If I'm caught then I'll look away, but then look back afterwards if he's not looking.
And when I'm with my friends and I know he's close by, I tend to be more louder and gigglier than usual.
If the guy talks to me then I try to talk back as casually as possible, even though I'm like burning inside.
