I'm doing Cellular and Molecular Bio with Pre-Med. Might dual major or minor with Political Science. Still thinking over it.

i know that in college, you're supposed to meet new people and become your own person.
but is there any way to ease the transition?
every day, i'm becoming more scared about leaving high school and at night, i'm crying and losing sleep about it.

any suggestions/tips for people like me?

^ Don't worry, you're not alone. I'm like that too. I have trouble leaving my comfort zone and the thought of being in a new setting by myself and having to make new friends is nerve-wrecking. But keep in mind - there are a lot of people going through the same thought and are just as scared as us. This probably isn't the answer you were looking for and perhaps someone else can give you some good advice, but what I keep telling myself is that things will fall into place. I feel like the more we worry about it, the worse we'll be making it for us. Just try to think about the positive things about college (ex. better classes!), and once the time comes, I'm sure new friends will approach and we'll eventually get used to being on our own. I always hear from others that college is way better than high school. (:
