Sooooo.. after the longest time, UCI finally accepts my appeal after being waitlisted... way past the SIR deadline.

I was going to go to UCSB but since UCI is closer to home (and not too far from home) I'm going to go to UCI instead.. however..
my orientation for UCSB is next Monday.. should I still go? There's so much for me to do now.. >< resent transcripts, AP scores.. ahh T_T

I am not happy! I calculated that I have to spend $400 on my textbooks for just the FIRST semester.
Stupid college! It's only because two of my textbooks are specialized versions and each of them are $120+.

I gotta go on a frantic scholarship search from now on lol.

This summer has been pretty boring .__. Maybe I should've listened to my mom and get a second job. I only work like 3 days a week as a tutor :X.
The weather has been so bad here in New England. It rained for the whole June and now the weather is okay, still in the 70s temperature and a thunderstorm breaks out like every couple of days. Blah, I miss my hot summers!

What things are you guys thinking of taking? I'm thinking of taking a rice cooker and buying a George Foreman grill. ... I'm hoping my roommate has a TV and X-box. xD
