What's CSU Chico like?

A lot of my friend's haven't heard about it and I've done some research on it, the campus seems really big and according to collegeboard I can really get in.
But I'm curious as to what the students and campus is like from a personal view?
Anybody else applying?
Anybody graduated?
Anybody attending?

I'm an average Junior High school student.
GPA : 3.0 - 3.7
SAT: (from march SAT) is 1390 =x
Key Club member

and thats about it. =/
nothing stands out about me on paper.

But other than that, I'm a pretty social kid, I move a lot so it's a must for me. heh.

I'm interested in majoring in Predentistry.
Good courses/professors there?

It's nice to get some words of advice by word-of-the-mouth rather than researching off the school site itself. Since of course the school never points out the negatives. heh.

Basically...it's a party school. Honestly. That's all anyone ever says about it. A friend of mine is going there this fall. He's...a party boy. This isn't to say that the academics there aren't great, but if you're easily pulled into parties and distracted from studies, it might not be the best place to go.

If you're worried about your SAT score, you can study during the summer and take it again this fall. Or you can try the ACT. Some people excel at one but not the other.

^ thanks! i read somewhere that its a good place to socialize, but i need specifics on what that meant. haha.
