So im only stating the majority so yes.. if you are offended in someone generalizing i suggest you leave before you continue on reading.
I grew up in Seattle with Chinese born americans.. during grade 8 and 9 my body was like BAZZAM!! BAM! Totally like hyori! Jessica Alba and any small curvy person that would turn ur head
I had a tight tone body, round perky bum and my bra was filled! I was nicely thick!
And then i moved to Toronto and Vancouver where THAT PHASE came along and i wanted to be "A Fob" strangely the next 4 yrs
i traveled to asia, only made fob friends.. dated fobs.. watching/listening everything fob.... my body even became a stick! u know what they say.. mind over matter..
my clothes and my hair and my face... i looked super fob.. no one would have guessed that i was born and raised in north america... shortly after my body followed and matched my image.
i became not as shapey as before and a majortity of my fob/international friends were super thin... like.. no bum and flat both sides...they were lanky..and what made me realize why i wanted to change was something small like seeing my fob friends taking out there money from there coin purse.. and i saw there upper arm...its just unattractive skinny. (unless they are chubby)
I started to envy all the Vietnamese girls i see on youtube.. and at clubs and stuff....
Is there really a way to get my old body back... and get my ABC/CBC shape back?

im a total believer over that mind over matter thing!! i forgot what is was.. something happen to me in the past where i thought anything u think is what it is..
i also watched a youtube thingy where the girl started out pretty and then put herself down and started having bad attitude towards herself and at the end of the 5 mins clip she ACTUALLY looked worse.
i know what you mean. Alot of my fob friends really.. ermm.. like average body dont get me wrong.. some ppl think its cute!
I think you just need to listen to your hiphop and eat well and work out? i dunno... It could also be that your growing up and losing your baby fat so your not as
bootylicious as before. but its so true... im starting to get my close friend's body type as well... ppl call us twins...
this thread is funny because it doesnt make sense.. but it makes sense... o.O so unexplainable about why it happens the way it does

I say just get your mind back in the A B C. haha Listen to that style of music, consume that part of society, make some non-fob friends and it will probably come back naturally. Most likely part of the reason that you became such a stick is bc you were consuming a lot less calories while with ur fob friends. It probably didn't seem like it at the time, but fob girls definitely care about that more than North Americans so they tend to be more strategic with snacking and meals.
I'm sure that it will all fall back into place...

maybe just try being yourself again...eat what you eat, do what you want, haha, no restrictions?
i dont know cause im one of those "super skinny" girls and its not my fault, its from my genes.. bleh.

Sorry, but clearly the "people" you've been talking to are very biased and stereotypical. A good diet and exercise is enough for a healthy looking body. Everyone's body composition is different. It could be that one person naturally has a bigger bust than another. Nothing to do with whether they are fob or not. The only reason you're associating fobbyness with flatness is because of genetics. Asian genes determine Asians to be slimmer and smaller in build.
Oh, and you're fob friends might have a nice little habit of cutting down on their eating. Have you taken note of that? I used to have a friend that was "chubby." Then she stopped eating a lot of things. She wasn't anorexic or starving (I hope), but she lost weight. She drank a lot of water and ate a lot of fruits and exercised.

It's probably because you changed your diet without knowing it while you were in that phase.

Ahh.. interesting post but wholly ignorant as to the cultural realities between chinese fobs, american born asians, vietnamese in the United States - born or immigrant, koreans american born or immigrant ~ and the nuances between american born vs american born based on region and exposure to diet and exercise.
Yes it is possible to attain a look by manipulation in eating and daily habits. The part where genetics kicks in is how you look as you manipulate your body with the decrease or increase in eating exercise every day. So living eating breathing a certain way will lead you toward a certain look.
Just like you can take anyone and make them skinny-fat on a certain lifestyle and diet.
There are only certain points where you should apply the genetic card and the way you did it was too vague and flawed to be of use.
She has to switch back over to the other lifestyle and live a new lifestyle that promotes the body she wants.

Ok well DUHHH obviously not ALL of the fobs have stick bodies. Im saying the majority of them. Did u think its not possibel for a fob to be curvy too?
Its based on diet and genetics. But im saying and alot of my friends can agree that alot of my fobs friends are skinny, (how can u argue that when im saying its true?) but yes of course in the whole percentage and the whole wide world im not saying all fobs are not curvy OBVIOUSLY NOT.
If i was being ignorant why dont i just say "All fobs at flat on both sides and all Abc and CBC are curvy"? Because its not true. Im saying the ones i hang out with is that way.. and u cannot go against what im saying because this is what is true FOR ME.
