Does Orange Service Provider Work With Fido(canada)?

Okay- so I want to buy this LG Viewty phone off Ebay and it is at a very good price. I noticed it said it was locked to the Orange Service Provider and was unaware of what that was. Till I asked and they said it was a service provider located in the UK. I was wondering- if I bought it and inserted my own Fido sim card into there, would it work here? Or would I have to configure it or something?

just buy it unlocked. search for an UNLOCKED phone and that will work. if you get this phone you'll have to have it unlocked which will cost and it's more trouble than needed when you can easily buy this phone unlocked all over the place.
