what better way is there then to spend a friday night sitting with a bunch of friends watching a funny movie?

i think laughter is the best medicine and i love a good laugh,

so here are some of my favorite funny movies of all time:

(1) dumb and dumber (early 90s)
two guys travel halfway across the country to meet up with some woman to give her a suitcase she left in the airport. funny stuff.



(2) step brothers (2008)
will ferrel and john c. reilly are hilarious together. they are both middle aged men still living with their parents that act like children. a must see. (i love stupid humor)



(3) superbad (2007?)
come on! this was just a freaking hilarious movie. three teenagers and the party that will change their lives.



(4) the new guy (2001??)
about this guy who wanted to spend his senior year of highschool with a bang and transfers into a new school and changes his personality/look completely. funny as heck. =XX



(5) scary movie 1, 2, 3 (2001-2004?)
funnny. just a movie that gathers a bunch of spoofs together of scary movies. funny as heck. by the wayans brothers.



(6) white chicks (2003)
another wayans brothers movie about 2 fbi agents who go undercover as two rich snobby white girls to uncover a case. i can always watch this again and again.

"Flying high" or "Airplane" from 1986. It has the most hilarious trailer.


"Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit" - so cute and funny.


"Borat" - Watch it once at least, but it's recommend that you do not watch it with family.

"RRRrrrr!!!" - I swear, it is the funniest movie ever created. It is in French, but you can watch it with subs. Definitely a must-watch.

pinapple express. i loved the character red. making fun of korean cars can't get old.
nacho libre. ingenious character. "anaconda squeeze!"
home alone 1 & 2. not only a christmas favorite, but really funny as well.
shaolin soccer. just gotta love the movie. motivational, weird, awkward, and funny at the same time.

ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY!

Possibly the greatest comedy movie ever made. Okay that's stretching it but you can't go past this hilarious movie.

Pretty much all Judd Apatow related films are hilarious:

The 40 Year Old Virgin
Knocked Up
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Superbad
Pineapple Express

Role Models was pretty good even if it wasn't an Apatow film (even though it had a lot of familiar faces from past Apatow films).

Billy Madison was good too, and so was Big Daddy. Haven't seen Happy Gilmore...

I'm looking forward to seeing Funny People. Eric Bana returns to his comedic roots in this movie.

You're not alone. Pineapple Exppress and Tropic Thunder dissappointed me highly.
I love Princess Bride, I never really saw the hype over that movie because I didn't know it was supposed to be a comedy.
I wuved the pwiest!

Another funny movie was TWILIGHT. That movie is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. It was also funny when it was intentional.
