When you think someone's mad at you with vague reason, what do you do?
uhm, you see I have this aunt who is a teacher in a university where i am studying at. I'm kinda shy to greet her everytime we meet and I guess she got the wrong impression of me being snobby. I just hope I'm just over analyzing things and that she's not really mad (like, i guess she is ignoring me)at me.
I dunno!

yeah i guess our age gap is a factor. I hope my mom would ask me to do errands that would involve her so i could have the chance to talk to her and find out if she's really mad at me.
thanks anyways!

Well this happens to me with my teachers. Like I had them the year before, and whenever I am walking by the hallway if its not crowded, a teacher will just walk by the oppsite direction of where i am going. So we are bound to be close one another at one point. At that time I just say hi and keep on moving, but I guess thats the type of person I am, I dont like to chitchat that much.
Now must of the time, I just say hi if she or he looks at me, if they are looking somewhere else, I just walk by without saying anything.
And I dont think your aunt is mad at all for this, but then again, I really dont know what type of person you aunt is. To be honest, I dont think you did nothing wrong

You're not alone. I often get like this with my boyfriend's family for some unknown reason - I've known them all for years now! It's like I struggle to make much eye-contact and I feel much more comfortable when I'm out of their way.
I try to get over it by trying to stop being concious of the fact that I feel that way and try to relax and not see it as such an issue. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It is hard because I always wonder if they think I'm being rude, but I really don't mean to be.
