The 6 member girl group T-ara (Tiara) exposed their practice room and also talked about how they felt about their debut as well as future plans for the group.
Ji Yeon stated, "I became famous due to the nickname 'The Second Kim Tae Hee'. There were also a lot of negative comments." She started getting teary eyed and couldn't continue with the statement. Just goes to show how all the pressure and hardships that celebrities go through are just too much for a 17 year old girl.
Ji Yeon also said that she felt very heavy hearted about going into acting for the MBC drama "Spirit (Hon)." She said, "I'm afraid that there will be a lot of controversy over my acting debut..." and broke down into tears again.
So Yeon, who was sitting next to her, said, "Because Ji Yeon is still young, she is still very sensitive. And because people have so many negative comments about her being the 'next Kim Tae Hee', her confidence went down the drain, she was really hurt."
T-ara's representative stated that with the group's activities, dramas and photoshoots, Ji Yeon barely gets any sleep. She would sometimes stay up until 6am filming and have to go straight to school right after. "Although we do feel sorry for having to put her through a schedule like this, we are very grateful to her for her strength and courage."
