Srsly T-Ara only started to gain recognition and popularity after TTL. The girls showed they could sing sweet ballad and do explosive raps.
A lot of girl group doesn't have a amazing debut, WG, SNSD, BEG... I don't think it's fair to judge the girls after Lies and their collaboration with Supernova.

[09.11.12] T-ara Becomes the Ambassadors to Japanese Anime 'Evangelion: Breaking'

T-ara, the chart-topping girl group that collaborated with Supernova for 'TTL' have been appointed as the ambassadors to the Japanese Anime Evangelion: Breaking.

The 6-member girl group was appointed to represent the series as their members resemble the characters Ray, Asuka, and Mari in appearance.

The Evagelion series has been extremely popular in Japan, and its also made waves in Korea. Therfore, there was a lot of deliberation that has taken place in order to appoint a feasible ambassador.

Previously, SS501 also became the ambassadors to the first Evangelion movie, Evangelion: The Beggining as their popularity and Japan and Korea have sky-rocketed ever since.

'Because of the T-ara members' resemblance to the pilot characters of Evangelion, Ray, Asuka, and Mari, we believe that T-ara is the most qualified celebrities to represent Evangelion' said S&S, the company responsible for the domestic release of Evangelion.

With this statement, all T-ara members happily accepted the proposal to be the ambassadors to the anime.

T-ara member Boram was said to resemble the character 'Ray' because of her hairstyle. Young Kim Taehee, Jiyeon was said to resemble Asuka because of her charming cute looks. Finally, because of her long hair and strong looks, leader Eunjeong was said to resemble the character of Mari.

The Evangelion: Breaking promotions have been pushed farther a little later because T-ara has a packed schedule this November because of their upcoming mini-album release. However, during that time, T-ara and the companies will be meeting upon the details on how premiere will go and promotions.

Evangelion was derived from the Japanese anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion from 1995, and ever since, it's become quite a phenomenon.

Evangelion: Breaking is set to be released on December 3rd, 2009.

[09.11.15] T-ara's Hyomin: 'Invincible Youth' is Very Enjoyable and Makes Me Happy

During KBS2TV's Invincible Youth recording, T-ara's Hyomin shares her thoughts about the show.

On the 14th of November, Hyomin posted a picture of her along with Narsha, Sunny, Sunhwa, Hara, and Hyuna in her Cyworld page. Moreover, Hyomin had added in that 'Whenever I'm eating and hanging out with the G7 girls during recordings weekly, it's very fun-filled and exciting. I hope that we'll be able to take more pictures like this in the future'.

With their makeup-less faces on the camera, the girls posed for a picture sharing one blanket as they eat together.

The fifth episode of Invincible Youth will air next Friday.

SUPER DUPER AMEN! True! But as you said, the 3 biggest girl groups now didnt have an awesome debut and had alot of people supporting them unlike one group i know. WG, SNSD, and Kara all had to work their way up. And by the looks of it. alot of people are really favoring Tiara after TTL! With Hyomin in G7, alot of people are realized "oh hey she's funny too!". Eunjung on Star King, Qri with her drama. Soyeon on SGB. Theyre working their way up!

Yeah they stopped promotions for ttl l2 weeks ago.. lol nov 1 was the last perf. Aeternium has uploaded it in his YT. It was defo my fave perf too!

I got the Ceci and Ceci Campus yesterday with T-ara in it. Ahhhh, I love it. The girls are hot in the pictures. Qri, Soyeon, and Jiyeon's photoshoot & the Unionbay photoshoot. Next I should be getting M Talk magazine soon. Hyomin

It's so quiet now with T-ara with no promotions and all that. But I can't wait until another project comes along.
