I'm probably worrying over nothing, but I thought I'd give a shot by posting to see if I'm not the only one or if these symptoms sound familiar to someone else.
So to put it simply: I've had constant nausea for the past four days. I definitely know I'm not pregnant unless if somehow this is an immaculate pregnancy. I'm keep wondering whether this is a stomach virus or some bug (well, that's what the doctor told me but somehow I'm still unconvinced for some reason, I guess because my [lack of] symptoms are so weird and I'm a hypochondriac).
For example, I'm constantly nauseous and have actually thrown up (first two days; the third day which was yesterday, I didn't and today I was really close), but my body isn't aching, I don't have the runs (the first two days I did, sorry to easily grossed-out or people enjoying hot chocolate), I can walk around (I walked a mile or two yesterday from my doctor's office back to my apartment because I had no ride), and I don't have a fever. I just think this is so odd because shouldn't I be bed-ridden and aching? I mean, I suppose there are a lot of flu types and all, but I just want to know if anyone else has dealt with this or know it's not some underlying disease.
I also have no appetite at all. The first couple of days, it was hard to even keep water and Gatorade down. It's getting a little better and I actually sometimes have hunger pains, but even when I try to eat I end up feeling sick to my stomach. Whatever I have is probably the worst diet ever.
Condensed version: Constantly nauseous for four days, some vomiting, doctor said it's stomach virus but my lack of symptoms seem to convince me otherwise. Am I suffering from something more than a flu? Is it normal to be constantly nauseous for four days during a supposed stomach bug?
By the way, what are your guys' ways to alleviate nausea? I bought some ginger ale which helps a little, saltine crackers, Emetrol (syrup over-the-counter medication for nausea; it's helping now but it's so sweet and heavy that it makes me feel really sick to my stomach after I take it) and I don't know what else.
Sorry if this is so long. Thanks in advance, guys. I owe you one. <3 Jeez, I really sound like a skeptic in this thread.

*sigh* You sound exactly like me. I'm like you. Even when I go to the doctor and they tell me it's something I still worry and think they're wrong. It's possible that it's just indigestion and anxiety you're creating by constantly thinking that there IS something wrong with you.
When I have nausea I have my mom do this back thing for me.. can't really explain it either that or I ddah (you use a needle to poke your thumb and sometimes feet if your indigestion is really bad to get all the "bad blood" out) I wouldn't recommend doing this if you don't know what you're doing. My nausea is usually caused by indigestion which is why I use these methods.

Some say i'm a genius, others say i'm crazy
but they all say i'm a little on the weird side

instead of ginger ale, just try grating some ginger in hot water, and take with a little lemon and honey. its much more direct and its soothing (at least to me).

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll ask my mom about the needle thing because she might know about, but thanks for all the suggestions!
