How bad was the accident?

If your car made it to your garage, I'm sure it's fixable. As to how much, that'll depend on where you take it and how much they charge you. I'm not entirely sure what was damaged but easily over a $1000 if you got even some of the body damaged (for new body parts and paint). As for whether it will be the same, it depends on the damage. However, people usually do say that the car is never the same after being in an accident.

Don't hit yourself over the head about the accident. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and I'm sure you'll be more careful in the future. It happens, and the good thing is that your not hurt. A car, is just a car.

Good luck with the repairs.

Sounded like she hit the guy, so don't think that's possible.

Well not to be mean but if you are a new driver and are inexperienced and lucky enough to get a new car maybe you should've driven more carefully? I don't know the full details of it obviously but from my experience old men drive realllllllllly slow so in order for the damage to your car to be enough to mess up the alignment I'm guessing SOMEONE was going too fast (hint hint). But yah if you have alignment issues that obviously means you have body work issues and that'll easily cost a couple thousand. Your car prolly will never feel the same again just depends on how good of a job the body shop does to bring your car as close as possible to being the way it used to be.

There is a bit of confusion here. So I am assuming it wasn't your fault. Did you get all the correct information by trading info with the old man? Also did he admit fault?

alignment, body, paintjob, and other stuff will run you well over a $1000 unless you have some good connections

good luck with the repairs

some more info would be nice for some more a more accurate estimate

If it is the other driver's fault, then she won't need to worry how much it costs.

yeah so wait? you hit him? and he didn't hit you right? cause your topic says "sum old man hit my car!!" meaning he hit you? I'm confused

If he hit you then he'll have to pay for all the damages that was caused against your vehicle.

If you hit him, then you just have to face the music and learn. Every accident is a lesson and they always happen... just remember 1) It's an accident... its not like you wanted to hit him 2) You weren't hurt and that's what is most important

1st thing, did you hit the sum old guy or did he hit you?

makes a world of difference, your Topic says one thing but its confusing

if he hit you, no worries, who cares what people say, fixing your Wheel alignment is under $100 bucks if you go to the right shop

since it appears you’re under 21, if its not your fault (even if it is) get a Lawyer and have him/her settle it for you without using your Insurance if it is under your deductible (ex. $500, $1000, etc.)

having it settled w/out using your Insurance will keep your premium from going up especially if it was your fault and even if it wasn’t all Insurance companies count any/all accident claims regardless of fault, against YOU

remember, get your facts,/story straight and be truthful to your Attorney, he/she is trying to help you out in any way that they can

goods luck

To lose access to a car can be costly in time and money for some people.

Don't forget the time wasted hassling the insurance company to pay up.
