also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

www.cars.com works well to, used 01 Celica GT are not that expensive, I'd say don't pay more than 8,000 for one of those.

http://www.kbb.com/ will tell u the market price for any car new or used. Go to the sites mentioned above to actually look for a car and see how much you're gettin ripped off or how much of a dumbass the seller is, hopefully the latter tongue.gif

if your going to get an auto GTS dont, your just going to waste your money. you should go for a GT if you want a auto, and those should be like 20K for the 05' but older ones should run you around 10K, some for less.

GTS = Quicker but more $$$ for insurance, and initially the car as well. You are very young, insurance will be very expensive. Do you really need the GTS?
GT = Enough power to get around (point a to cool.gif.

Speaking of Celicas, aren't they due for a total redesign by now?

yeah the celica is discontinued now. supposedly the Scion tC is the replacement
rumors had it that a new version was coming out with a AWD TURBO CELICA again, there was a concept sketch, but again those were just rumors

NewCelica.org (the Biggest & Best Celica Forum on the Net)

ask all questions like this in the Newbie Forum

9 times outta 10 its been asked so Search is your friend

stay out of OT

unless your going to Mod it, get a GT, Insurance will be less GT-S Auto < GT 5 Speed when it comes to power, BTW, if you buy an 01, that should help w/your Insurance as well

best of luck w/your Search, check eBay Motors as well and if your looking for a Modded Celica (some sell rides w/$10,000+ worth of mods for less) depending on what you want knowing that modded cars more fun/power etc, = have to know the previous owner drove it like they should, for someone inexperience, you may get a heck of a deal

good luck!!!

Lol if she can drive stick...

Aren't all Si's 6speed?

The car i'm seeing all around is the altima 2.5S...which is also my car sad.gif the 1-2 shifts are kind of notchy and the clutch is so loose...
Makes me want to trade mine in for the 3.5SE...those things can haul ass and they're convenient. But i guess the clutch is going to feel the same sweatingbullets.gif
