Merlin is going to be on tv tomorrow!
so excited! (although i saw everything already hehe) its better to see it Bradley and Colin on my HD 54" tv than my 15" laptop screen~

but seriously whoever is advertising for Merlin to come to America is definitely doing a bad job...
i have yet to see a trailer on tv or posters anywhere!

YES!!!!

Finally, Merlin coming to CANADA! I love this show, and has re watched every episode like 10 times! Colin Morgan and Bradley James are so hot! ... Does anyone agree with me that Morgana kinda maybe looks like Keira Knightly (is that how you spell her name?)? Because the resemblance is so close! I'm so pumped up for June 21~ I was screaming and jumping when I saw the commercial for Merlin!

new to this thread!
i was flipping through TV Guide and came upon Merlin, read it and thought it was interesting
(since i grew up watching the cartoon shows and all the remake films, why not, i love this wizard! lol)

i am so freaakking HAPPY they finally came to America!
i could go download all the episodes and not have to wait,
but i'm going to be supportive and hope NBC doesn't kill the show off
(like a lot of other broadcasting tv are doing, these ratings has to go up for this show, it IS so GOOOOD!)

i hope others in the state will enjoy it and watch it more.
i can't believe there's going to be a season 2, i mean its good they're continuing it,
it just shows how behind we are here, lol.

btw it sure is confusing if Gwen in the show is really Gwen who ends up marrying Arthur,
are they suppose to be the same or different?

^ I was confused too with the whole Gwen thing. I mean in the show you don't see much Arthur and Gwen (to me at least) until the last episode when Arthur was sick and Gwen was saying stuff to him in his sleep and he woke up then was kinda teasing her about it (which was adorable by the way) but maybe thats just the beginning to stuff that'll happen between them in the 2nd season ... ?

and to xiaoyu I actually always thought that the girl who played Morgana looked liked Megan Fox.

But yeah I was pleasantly surprised that NBC showed 2 Merlin episodes back to back! I wonder if they'll do that for all of the episodes.

i wonder how much of the script is going to follow after the books/tales of it...

^I don't think it'll follow much of the story. I mean, Guinevere is black. Guinevere/Gwenhwyfar means white fairy or white ghost. -__- I mean I love Angel Coulby (in the cast diaries she and Bradley seem to have something going on between them or at least Bradley seems to have a crush on her XD) but I thought it was weird that they cast someone black for a supposedly (literally) white character.

I'm rooting for Arthur and Morgana. They have more chemistry than Arthur and Gwen.

Huh the ratings came in for Merlin in USA/Canada
and i have to say that it isn't bad... but it isn't good...

Episode 1: 5.46 million viewers
Episode 2: 5.24 million viewers

T_T it dropped...
hopefully it would do better next week~
are they going to air two more episodes or just one more?

am not flaming u or anything but are you saying that because Angel Coulby is black? Hmmmm.. Gwen is charming enough for me and Angel Coulby plays Gwen really well. It's a nice break too that someone not white is playing a main Arthurian character.

You noticed that too? haha Seems like everyone even the Arthur/Merlin fans go weak at the knees whenever Arthur would call her by her full name.

Actually, Merlin and Lancelot have called her "GuineVere." But only Arthur makes her name sound so special and sexy. Like he loves every syllable. Makes me want to change my name to GuineVere. LOL

hahaha yeah, Merlin and Arthur's chemistry is def the best in the show. I LOVE them but in a Bromance kind of way. hehe I love it when they're being hilarious.

Shucks, as much as I love Arwen I have to admit I have a super soft spot for Lance/Gwen too. I just wish Lance would be in it more. hehe Love Tri FTW. But this is a family show so I doubt they'd go there. But yeah, am super happy that Lance will be back in s2! I wanna see a jealous!Arthur. hehe
