Hey guys, I'm sorry if this topic was posted before. But I was wondering if there are ways to lose weight without gaining muscles and cutting down eating? [Because I love my food @-@]

Hum... well my mom tells me to soak in a bathtub filled with hot-enough water that reaches your waist and sit there for like 30 minutes without your arms, hands or elbows touching the water. (Basically, don't let your upper half of the body touch the water.)

I think this is like a sweating method. :0 It's supposed to keep your body's circulation going and it lets you lose weight too. :0 Not till you're super skinny, but a healthy weight range.

You can try it lol. My bro did this for a while and he shed a couple pounds. (Coupled with diet and exercise of course, but the bath thing ought to have contributed somehow. xD)

It's relaxing too, it wouldn't hurt to try. :0

You can still exercise and do things such as running, jogging or walking to lose fat. Those sorts of cardio exercises won't give you protruding muscles but rather tone them.

Also, watch what you eat. My brother ate at a salad bar stall every day at lunch time and lost 2kg in a month and a half. It's expensive and an unrealistic example. But basically I'm trying to say you should eat healthy (if you aren't already) to lose and maintain your desired weight.

First of all, its hard to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time, so you don't have to worry about that.

Second, it's possible to lose weight without cutting your calories, but the progress will be really slow and probably unrewarding. If I didn't cut my calories and exercised as hard as I do now only to see minor results, I'd be pretty discouraged from exercising. You can exercise hard for an hour and that can all be ruined by eating one burger (no fries or drink). If you include fries and a soda, you pretty much ruined two straight hours of exercise. That's how important diet is. If you really want to lose weight fast (who doesn't?), you'll have to cut the calories. If you don't mind working out normally and seeing the results 2x slower, you can simply exercise and continue eating what you do now. The problem with this is that people are easily discouraged. If it takes you 2 weeks to lose .5lb to 1lb, you will probably get discouraged and quit exercising right away.
