No one will deny that The Dark Knight was one of, if not the, best movies of the year. Even before its release people were quoting it and the hype was as high as a Harry Potter book release. Lets keep it going and play off the meme created last year for the AP test. Since I couldn't find an official spin off from last years, I started one.

The goal: Twice as many people as the Sparta group from last year.
That means 60,000 people
Lets do it :]


Alright, the steps
1) In the middle of an essay randomly write the words "WHY SO SERIOUS?"
2) Draw a single line through what you just wrote
3) Continue with the essay as normal

It WILL NOT effect your score if you strike it out! Anything with a line through it is considered "not a part of the essay".

We all need some entertainment in the midst of the stress of AP tests right?

Actually a lot of the AP graders thought it was really funny that kids did "This is Sparta!" last year. So it's probably very unlikely that you'll piss them off.

Anyways, if I remember to do this...I totally will. I have 4 AP tests this year hahaha.

my ap lit teacher told me readers prefer clean essays. so by writing the phrase down & putting a line through = essay becomes messy :X
but idk i highly doubt i'll remember to write such a phrase under time pressure and all

my AP world history teacher graded an essay last year and said it was really funny. It kept them entertained and they would tell each other when they got another one. I think some even tallied up how many they got
So I really don't think they get upset or anything. If anything, they find it funny/amused
