This actually happened with a guy I dated. I flat out told him he should brush more. He took my advice. It's not like it's that much of a loss when someone with a bad attitude, useless pride, and stank breath bounces.

Luckily he's really not full of himself and was actually thankful.

If it is just bad breath b/c s/he forgot to brush their teeth or ate something stinky, then I would just tell them in a joking manner....."Your breath is kickin' today" or something more clever then that

However...If it is a chronic halitosis, then I would advice them to go see a doctor, for everyone's sake

we just tell each other. i have a love for foods with garlic, and strong flavors. so if i have a vietnamese sub, garlicky pasta, or something else that makes my breath kick, he tells me.
