heys,

i formatted my computer and i wanted to install in MSN. btw, i'm on Vista.

when i was installing it came up with this error message and it wouldn't install in any more.

does anyone know what i can do to help fix this and let it install without anything problems ?

Change your signature, its too big. Violates signature rules.

Did you download the new windows live installer? Might not be a bad idea to download it again to see if it makes a difference.

have yu installed windows update first before you installed windows live ? when installing windows update...it is mostly required to restart the computer .

after googling this problem...it became more complicated to me . lolx !

all i found is about something problem in visual c++ or studio .

so i think...do a windows update first...restart...then install windows live...

i dunno if that will really solve the problem lolx !

Scan and look around O2, O4 and O23 and check anything related to Windows Live and check them and "fix checked" them. Look around carefully. O2 sometimes may have no information about Windows Live but we recognize them through binary codes. You can send me the log through PM if you need assistance and you are unsure. - This is to be sure nothing is interfering -. You can actually send me that log later after you've done the following steps (or before it, it's up to you):

Get the Windows Installer clean up...

Install, open it and uninstall/remove everything related to Windows Live. Look around carefully.
After you're done, close it.

By then, let's install Windows Live manually in ORDER (I took links from Jonathan Kay haha):

AND before any installation from that, disactivate any firewall you have, just in case. Also be sure to close everything opened before installation. Close anything you have opened, especially MS outlook, internet explorer, etc. And if you succeed, you can activate your firewall back.
PS. Do NOT install the rest if the installation from the first link isn't working. Just tell me if it isn't working (or tell me any new error). We'll move on to manual registry clean up and arrangement.
