Do I see crabcakes? >< I love crabcakes.

Anyway, I've been trying to eat more lean chicken (breast, no skin) to help with building some more lean muscle. I'm a girl, trying to tone up. Recently, I started eating strawberries and watermelon on a regular basis. Sometimes, I blend the watermelon to make it like a watermelon juice, and have it that way. Super refreshing, light and wonderfully thirst quenching + healthy.

Sure thing
This was a very simple dish, cause I was gonna make a salad at first but the thought of carbs got into my head, so I cooked some noodle to go with the salad.

Shopping list:
Sun dried tomatoes
Water Cress \\
Spinach >>>>> this was what i had in my salad
Rockets ///////
Black pepper
Canola Oil - it retains vitamins even when cooking This stuff
Salad seed mix (sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, linseed and sesame seeds)
Herb mix (Rosemary, Savoury, Tyme, Oregano, Marjoram, Wild Tyme, Basil... whatever you perfer)
Mee pok noodles- you can use whatever you want raimen pasta...etc
Miso Soup Stock - it could be chicken, vegetable, pork stock or whatever you want

Pre boil the water
Boil the Mee Pok noodle with the Stock for 1-2 minutes (maybe more maybe less obviously the thicker the noodle the longer it would take)
the noodle should soften up and absorb the stock by then
Filter out the noodles from the soup imediately after boiling as I'm going to stir fry it (Keep the soup)
Pour the Canola oil so it covers the pan with a sprinkle of herbs and the sun dried tomatoes*
And in goes the noodles and use maxium heat,
Turn it, Flip it, Twist it till the noodles get abit crispy,
If the oil evapourate pour in more,
I did it for about 3 minutes as I didn't want it to be that crispy.
Mix it with your salad, seed mix and black pepper
Wha La it's done

*They could be hydriated but why when it taste so good unhydriated

Miso soup/salad+Mee pok noodles:
Actual cooking time 5-6 minutes
Prepairation 2-3 minutes
Total 8 minute ish

note: you don't need to watch it boil or stay by the pan while stir frying all the time, if you do it's gonna take alot longer

Raimen noodle will be faster as don't need to stir fry and it only take 1 minute to boil.
Pasta takes around 10 minutes to boil but you don't need to stir fry; though you can if you wish

I'll tell you more than you want to know smile.gif

Well I'm a cheat when it comes to cooking, I boil it too with abit of soup stock, to add flavour as it seem pretty plain to me.
If I don't use stock I use the juice of vegetables and mushrooms, which just ooze out when it's on a sauce pan, sometimes i'm really lazy and just steam the vegetables above the quinoa when i boil it so it drips down onto it.

I sometimes leave my mushroom in a bowl of milk over night to improve the texture and make it creamy the next day happy.gif

LOL I'm hungry again
