Okay so I just bought a car from a used car dealership and everything seemed okay when I picked the car out.

After paying for it, I found that the right power mirror doesn't move up and down. There is also a shaking vibration feeling in the steering wheel when i drive it. there are little orange specs on the vehicle. Some of the rusted spots that i was aware of earlier just look painted over (how do if ix that) and the warranty on transmission and engine they gave me, I think the guy john teshing ripped me off on that as well. The car has 116700k on it but he wrote it down with 115k on it. Its a subaru 2002 legacy gt. I paid 9k flat for it and got two sets of tires (one winter and one summer)

Did I get ripped off on it? and is there something that can be done about this? for ex, can i threaten to bring him to court regarding sale under false pretenses?

I would go back to the dealership and see what they can do.
This is why I hate used cars, some cant be trusted..even dealerships.
They do anything to make it sound like everythings okay..so dey can sell it to you.
You should have asked dem..if there was any problems or anything that wasnt working before you bought your car.
If they lied about it..nd got somethings in like a contract signed..that would have been a good proof.

+1. Always test drive the car before you buy it. Look over every nook and cranny on the car. Just doing that just may save you thousands and a headache.

Did you even test drive the car? I doubt you can threaten a court case from sales under false pretenses because you accepted the contract due to the fact that you accepted the car as it is .You should have test drove the car and inspected everything before buying it . The judge will not care if it was a bad sale, he will just tell you you're sh** out of luck. Its hard to prove whose right or wrong because its your word against his.

Essentially you bought the car AS IS from the used car dealership and its usually written on the papers you need to sign. There isn't really much you could do unfortuantly, because it is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle throughly and test drive it throughly prior to paying. You won't be able to take this to any court because in this situation you're not going to win the case.

Did you purchase a carfax report on the car prior to the sale?

you never should listen to a car dealership in what he have to say about a car is trying to sell because all he just wants is sell it lol. you have to and must inspect a car before you buy it.
the car is used so as long as it runs fine just drive it for now
