idk how the scoring goes so can someone tell me what my score would be on the writing section (NOT MY RAW SCORE, an actual Score like 600, etc)

41 correct
8 incorrect
0 omits
8/12 on the essay

is that good or bad? sorry thanks

here's the thing:

I got the same as you on the essay (an 8)
but I got 100% on the multiple choice. (0wrong, no omits etc)

and i got a 770.

my friend got an 8 an the essay.
she missed around 2-3 on the multiple choice.
and she got a 690.

so I guess it depends on how everyone else does.
but you should probably get mid 600s

Probably around 610-650 I would say (but depends on that specific test's curve)

On my SAT for writing, I got 9 wrong, 0 omitted and an 8 on my essay as well and I got a 600.

I got 5 wrong and 11 on the essay when I took it and got a 730.

I'd say you probably got around low-ish 600?
I got 3 wrong, 0 omit, 10 on the essay and my score was 700. :/
the curve for writing is tough.

edit: why did i get such a low score on the writing second?
it doesn't make sense....

0 mistakes, but a 8 on my essay ._. .....
guess I'm luckier than KDPMeluv ?
since she got the same essay mark but I got 10 higher lol

From what I understand, getting an 8 on your essay doesn't alter your score. Like... it's neutral.

If you got an 8, your score would be solely based on your multiple choice and then affected by whatever the curve was.
If you get below an 8 then your score would be lower, above an 8 and it would be higher -- thus altering the curve.

So if you got an 8 and missed no multiple choice like KDPMeluv, you could still get a 770 because people would have scored higher on the essay, altering the curve.

UGH I retook the test.

I got only two questions wrong on writing but I got a 7 on my essay...

Ugh. I hate myself T_T
