They said there are a lot of foreigners on campus (they usually have designated dorms for foreigners, so you if you get into that dorm, you'll meet tons of people). You won't have a hard time adjusting ... although, since there are all girls, they are very competitive. Most of the girls who go there are also freaking skinny (or so I've been told by exchange students here).
If you can handle hot competitions, go for it!
I didn't know Ewha is known for fashion designing program.

I just remember the reactions from big bang and the rest of them seeming impressed. seems like a pretty prestigious uni, at the least.

Yeap I did, in summer 2007. Probably the best summer so far I must say =). Ewha's campus is right in the university area, in walking distance to Yonsei, Sogang and Hongdae so the neighborhood is really young, dynamic and caters to students.
Academics wise, I didn't learn a lot from my classes (except the Korean one obviously) but thank God it's a OK balance of play-study so I felt less guilty going to that program haha.
You got to interact quite a lot with Ewha students as well; they have a student society called Peace Buddies that basically match up with an Ewha student, who is supposed to help you adjusting to Ewha and Korea in general. They all held lots of events during weekends too (like going to Bundang Mud Festival...) In my years, we all ended up being really good friends and in fact my buddy is coming to visit me in a couple of weeks =).
In short, you won't regret coming there =)!

If you are a foreigner meaning that both you and your parents have no korean citizenship, then your admission will be based on your academic record and an interview usually done in september. admission documents must be submitted sometime in august. there is the website
http://www.ewha.ac.kr/english/
and it will help you with general info, but you should go to the school and get information from the admissions office.
the campus is really pretty and it's near yonsei university and hong ik university.

I attended last summer, and it was on of the best experiences of my life. I got 9 college creds out of it (that my college accepted), but it was a lot of work! I took a 2 hour class in the morning, 2 hour class in the afternoon, and a 3 hour korean language course later in the day. All my classes were really interesting! And I learned a lot. The people were nice too, and there were some actual Ewha students in some of my classes and I made good friends with them. You only have class monday through thursday, so you have a 3 day weekend and theres a lot to do right in the Ewha area. Great experience, I highly recommend it.

But I just wanted to know how many books are in the Ewha Korean series for learning Korean. Right now I'm only on Ewha Korean 1-1 and I know there's an Ewha Korean 1-2, but I was just wondering how many more books in the series there are and their names, too. Also, I wanted to know where I could actually buy them? I live in Canada and I do not really know where to order the next levels. I think I read that there a total of 6 levels?
So, basically (sorry, I know I'm repeating myself...) I just wanted to know the names of the next levels, because past the third level (levels 1, 2 and 3 have two books each) I don't know how many books are in level 4, 5 or 6.
Thank you!
