So peoples , do you believe that teenagers are mature enough to have sex or should they wait?
I think that it's got to do with how strong your will power is to say no and resist the temptation because i mean when two people are alone and are so close to doing it, it makes things so much harder and a part of you wants to do it and the other part of you doesn't because you know it's not right and it's not for the right intentions. You want to do it more for the experience, pleasure and the feeling but you tend to forget that it's something much more special than that. It's your whole mind, body and soul that you are sharing with them, it signifies how much they mean to you and how much you love them. I think that teenagers these days are forgetting how sacred sex is and it's become so generalised that it's just a normal thing now. They can have sex whenever they want, whereever they want (well when they're not in the presence of their parents).
What do you guys think? Has sex become just a normal thing and been over generalised by the generation?

I think it's wrong to have sex, sex isn't for pleasure - it's for life processes. but people do it anyway.
I'm surprised your not banned yet. what's up with sex & liking 8 years old girls.. it's just wrong.

Sex has been an act of pleasure ever since history can remember. Hence those historic porn and sex toys made from marble, wood, etc. from centuries ago. People will always have their own beliefs, whether it's liberal or conservative.
do you believe that teenagers are mature enough to have sex or should they wait?
No. I don't believe that teenagers have the income and responsibilities to raise a child, get an abortion, or put up for adoption at such a young age. They should wait so they can have the financial and emotional support when they have an "accident".

I think it's best to wait to have sex until you feel pretty comfortable with the fact that you could support a child if (god forbid) your birth control fails. I feel this is the case for very few teenagers.

I don't think it really matters what age they are as long as they're not breaking any laws. .__.
Sex at any age just for a quick john tesh is kind of messed up. -shrug. The way I see it, if you really reaaally want to share yourself intimately with a person, then, go for it. Just make sure you won't regret it later - ex. babies, a breakup, whatever. If you can handle whatever comes afterward, like, being emotionally ready to get an abortion or handling a breakup even though you lost it to him, then. you're mature enough.
....just.. cover your junk.

Sex isn't sacred. It's just something that's done to make babies. Humans can also find it a pleasurable activity. That is it. There is nothing inherently special about it, it is humans that chose to put it on a pedestal. As any other action, there are consequences to be made.
I also think it's looking down on teenagers to think that they don't know consequences of sex and don't know how to use protection. And if they don't, it's often the side effect of abstinence-only education. I've known girls that have had sex since 13 and haven't had a child. Octomom can pop out eight kids (with the help of science) without being able to financially support all those children. What's the difference?

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! and understand what you are getting into or giving up. I was 21 when I became devirginized, I was ready and it was my choice,no one influencing me, I dated this person for one year before and after the act I felt guilty and waited another 6 months. That relationship lasted for 7 years, until I ended it. So young girl wait and know what you want!........

In my opinion, showing how much you love someone doesn't necessarily mean you must have sex with them.
Like really, I'm seeing these situations all over the place...
But anyways.
To tell you the truth.
I think there's no real age behind sex.
You either do it, or not.
But do know the consequences that you have to face afterward if it must come down to that.
Yeah I believe that last part you said.
Everyone, well a majority of people, are treating sex as a normal thing.
And I don't think there's a way to reverse that now.
It's gotten way too far the past years.
So best to let people decide what THEY want to do.
They started it, so they should somehow deal with it.
It's their life after all.
It's disgusting when people just want it for crazy pleasure.
Especially when there's NO feeling in it.
It's funny how a lot of people think sex is really important in a relationship.
But to me it's not.
Spending quality time together is stronger than just having sex everyday or whatnot.

I guess it depends on individual.
Some people treated sex as something important while some treated it as something fun and this applied too all ages, not necessary on teenager..
I think as long as you're safe then it's fine...
As for me, I will only have sex with someone I can trust and also the right one..
