Are there such things as Soulmates in this world? Do you believe in it?

I'll answer first then, haha. I believe in soulmates.
That there is someone for each person and
they're destined to be with that person.
I know it sounds cliche or corny but I can't help it.
It's what I believe. So Yes, I believe in Soulmates.

Haha, if there's soulmates why do some people end up alone? Why do some divorcees never find anyone after their previous? It's your own personal choices that leads to the future and whoever is involved in it.

I believe it to a certain extent, why? Because mathematically there's more females out there then men, so...it's like (guessing) 3:1 ratio for females. But that's only if it's based on man and woman partnering.

But in general I do believe in soulmates, no matter what your preference is, because you will find the love of your life out there one day. =)

I don't believe in the concept of a soulmate. That takes too much belief in the world and life having been designed to work out a certain way from the start. I can say that it's not too much of a stretch for me to believe that somewhere in the world there's one person who might be the person who would be the best for me in the world based on our experiences and personalities, but I have a much harder time believing that I'd just happen to meet that person, we'd just happen to be in the right age range for each other, and we'd just happen to both feel the same way and end up together. I think there are a fair number of people that are compatible with most of us. Some will be more compatible than others, some of them we'll never meet or just never get close enough to know it, but I don't think we each have one person we're meant for, and I don't think there's any such thing as that one perfect man for me who I'm "supposed" to end up with.

soulmate? i used to believe in it. now I think it's BS. I mean, you choose who you want to be with. soulmate has nothing to do with it. But after watching the Korean sitcom "soulmate," it make me think again...perhaps there is a soulmate, but not for everyone.

i think people believe there is the "one" for them = soulmate, and if they strongly believe that. They will believe it and be with that person for a long time. I have a friend who call's his bf soulmate, coz when they were kid's they used to be kiddy friends, and then 10 yr's later, met at college, and coicidently they found out that they knew each other from way back. And are together since 7 yr's ago. They are not old, they young. I think they will get married, but maybe in the future.

I think everyone has a soulmate, but not everyone finds their soulmate.
Some people settle for less, or miss their chance, or just give up entirely.
But I do think there's someone out there for everyone.. it's just almost impossible to find.

I believe in the whole its just that "he/she was in the right place at the right time".
Some people dont always end up with the person they loved the most in their life.
Relationships are made up of option and choices, two people decide what their future will be.
But for the people who dont end up with the one they loved the most, i think it's fate that you met them and they made an impact on who you are and your life.

But i'd like to think that there is somebody for everybody out there.
That we were destined to meet and be together , two people who walk the same road in life.

I definitely do not believe in soulmates. I believe it takes effort to make a relationship work. Maybe I'm supposedly "not meant to be" with someone, but if I love and care about him we'll work together to make everything work out.

Of course it's cute to say "we are meant to be, don't you agree?" and stuff like that, but it's not practical.

there HAS to be someone out there who's supposed to be with you
for the rest of your life.

As for the people who never get married... maybe they haven't
met their soul mate (yet). Or for the divorcees... maybe the first
person they married wasn't their "soul mate", and there's still their
soul mate out their somewhere..? I mean, i have a friend who had
a dad and mom, but they divorced. A few years later, my friend's
dad found another woman, and they've been together for 15+ years.

I like how it was portrayed in Plato's Symposium. People were originally supposed to be a whole, the Zeus split them into to parts so they'd be cursed to roam the earth looking for their other half and be complete again.
I don't think it means you will only love that person, but I think there is someone out there to complete everyone.
