i actually don't mind at all.. my friends do that sometimes, and i do it to them too. i wont stop if we're in the middle of a very important convo, only if we're just talking about meaningless stuff cause we're bored or whatever

Usually when I'm talking to other people, I have other windows open... so I prioritize responses by the order in which I was asked. Whenever I type a long response to someone, everyone else starts nudging me, thinking that I ignore them D:.

I've never had it happen to me though, maybe because I leave so much time in between for them to talk back that I don't think they've left.

Of course, some people might have just had to leave on a short notice, and couldn't type brb in time.

Oh God, my friend has this problem so badly. He even knows I hate it but pretty much all of his other friends (who I know too) do the same thing, so there's never a time where anyone's complaining to him about it (so he thinks it's normal). When I'm online, I'm online to talk. When he/they're online, it's just because the computer's left on. It's not necessarily to talk.

But he'd take about 20 minutes just to answer with every little thing I asked. It was so irritating, but eventually I got used to it. I don't really talk to him anymore because no matter what I'd tell him, he'd do it because that's just the way he is.

Yes! I absolutely hate it when it happens. I wouldn't be as pissed if we were talking about meaningless stuff, but if I actually asked them question but they totally ignore me or don't respond, I see red.

like what?! how can you just say that?

i was so f-ing pissed at her at that time i didn't reply to her
she does it a LOT of times so i don't bother talking to her anymore
& when i'm with her in the computer and when she's online on msn she only replies if someone nudges her or sth -__-
it's like she doesn't like chatting but what's the point of going online if you aren't gonna chat with people?

I don't mind. Sometimes I know their MSN have stuffed up or the convo doesn't flash sometimes (does that to me sometimes too). Sometimes I just leave my laptop there and go do something else without telling them so if they do it to me I don't mind
