^^ agreed!!! a truth with tears is way better than a lie with a smile how evil is that....good god....
cause then at the end i know that they told me the truth and i got over it
instead of finding out that it was a lie and find out the truth and man double the pain! ouch!

I'd rather prefer the truth. Being told a lie just to keep me content/happy/complacent/whatever has the additional baggage of implying I somehow can't handle the truth.
