Maybe its just me, but I find it extremely annoying and unattractive. It's equivalent to the "backwards peace sign and pouting your lips" pictures.

Sorry but I don't find it cute! I must have no heart. These girls are so pretty but when I see chipmunk face it just ruins it for me.
Every time I see this I imagine them trying to hold in their puke or they're trying save nuts for later. I know thats wrong but I don't find it adorable at all. Its probably a cultural thing but tonight I feel extra annoyed. LOL.

it does not look cute at all. especially if you have a rounded face like me. i look like an overblown balloon. imho it doesnt suit them. yes, they look like they wanna puke or they have nuts in their mouth

But it's an awesome way of making your lips appear smaller.

I don't really care about it. I don't do it but there are some people I konw that do. Some do look cute doing it but others... not really :/

LOL. Some people can pull it off, others can't. I generally don't have a problem with it if a person just does it in one photo, but if they do it in every freaking photo then that would definitely annoy me. This goes for other poses too ... when something becomes extremely repetitive it gets annoying.

It's OK when it's done properly.. I find it funny where it's just not working for the person. Where they actually look like they're pulling that face for funny reasons, and their lips look crazy and stuff.

I don't mind it when it looks cute. But I dun do it in case I fail at it.

LOL I'm glad I am not alone. I didn't realize it did make their lips smaller, and maybe thats the point??? And I do agree it does look cute when kids do it. I forgot to ask if its considered pouting too? Like a bratty kid? Again I'm not trying to offend anyone I just want to understand and by understanding it more maybe I'll be less annoyed.

Yes I do admit I do this when I am bored too! But its not a pretty sight. Its like taking a picture of me halfway through a sneeze. LOL maybe only incredible beautiful people can pull it off.

And the comment about seeing girls do this at the mall cracked me up.
