I have the option to have a year abroad in my university. It won't be until 2010 but the application process and visa etc will take a while. I might not even get in anyway haha.
I'm interested in the university and campus itself, the area, the people etc. Anything you can tell me really.
If I don't get in I'm going to try Arizona State university as it's not in as high demand as cali. What's that like?

There are 9 undergrad UC campuses that are usually separated into 3 tiers in terms of "academic prestige". Tier 1: UC Berkeley, UCLA Tier2: UCSD (debatable to be in its own tier), UCD,UCI,UCSB Tier3: UCR,UCM Which one are you applying for? If you want to see a college town + diverse campus, I suggest UCB, UCLA, UCD, and if you're into parties UCSB.

Name the UCs you're interested in and I can give you a breakdown. I'm not doing all of them though.
