I'm 5'1".. I think i'm pretty short.. and I want to be taller! however, im 18 years old and i dont think that's gonna happen.

My bf said that his cousin took a Height Growth injection in Hong Kong and she grew 2 inches taller...

have you guys ever heard of it?? IF you do..can u tell me something about it?

Personally I wouldn't mess around with that stuff as there are lots of hormones and stuff in those things...

The salesperson at my work has a daughter and they were giving her shots for her height. She's young. The reason they're giving it to her is because she took some medicine when she was younger so she would be a lot shorter than she's supposed to be. So they gave her daughter the decision as to whether she wanted to take the shots or not. I think she's taking them but other than that I can't tell you much. I can ask her if it's working when I see her though.

it usually only works when you are still growing. it costs a lot of money. there are risks with having the human growth hormone. if you really want to "grow" taller, you can always get that surgery where they break your legs into 4 sections then stretch it out for months. you ll definitely grow those extra inches you want.

Embrace shortness! Stalin was 5'4" and he was really powerful and an amazing speaker! (and a dictator but it shows that small people are big on the inside!)

just do lot's of athletic sports like running everyday.. it does works too.. i was 4'11 last summer and i'm 5'5 now. it's because I was in this track club.

I'm 5'1, i run on a daily basic's, & I don't think i am growing at all.
it depends on the gene's too. i wanted to be at least 5'5. but that ain't happening. </3 =(

I am 4ft11. Not quite at 5ft so it's unfortunate. My mom is short and my dad isn't that tall so I guess the result is me. Although it's not bad anymore I guess. I am 18 already and haven't grown for years so i'm not hoping on it.

Personally though, I won't do anything that meddles with any sort of chemicals in your body. It might help you grow a few inches but without knowing what's going to happen, you might regret anything that DOES happen in the future.

I never heard of these injection stuff but some people claim that there are odd females who still grow a little after they're 18 so if you try to do some regular exercise and sports, it might help a tiny bit It might not make you grow a while lot, but I prefer anything that's natural.

I know a man who had these injections during his teenage years
He said it was excruciatingly painful but more importantly, the hormones are one of the reasons he became infertile (so him and his wife had to adopt).

I don't think this is something to be messed around with, at least until the technique becomes more advanced

One of my close friends had hormone shots to grow taller for a few years when we were in high school. It's not something that you "just take" because you want to be taller. He took it because his height was irregular and he was supposed to be taller but didn't grow. But in the end, it can also make you a little awkward looking because only his arms and legs are longer and his torso is the same size it was before.
