Hi everybody!
so... okay obviously this is a guy problem.

But before i get into the details.. i just going to wrap things up first. He sits behind me in class (btw i only have on class with him, lets call him Colin.) He'll always move his desk up, and said that he liked the thought of us together.. in a way. because this girl drew a heart with our initials on it.. and he said he liked it and said i was going to like that to. But today and yesterday, he didnt do anything to get my attention. My friend asked him who he liked and he answered that he liked another girl named Cindy.

Why are guys like this? they are just plain annoying..

So.. in class i heard from Cindy's friend saying something like, "Colin likes Cindy again." (this was like... 3months ago)
but.. i thought he liked me.

Here are reasons why i thought he did.
1. he would ask me if i was his best friend like... everyday. untill.. 2 weeks before. he stopped.
2. move his desk closer to me
3. put his feet on my desk
4. He used to like me few years ago.. but he had girlfriends during those years... so it could've been a possiblity that he liked me.

I thought.. that he liked me.. so i was like.. hmmm i guess he's not that bad. so i started to like him.. and now since i'm figuring out that he's not that much into me, and the fact that he said he liked Cindy. I'm might want to give up. lol i think thats the best for me.

But... i'm just curious. why would he do that? He likes Cindy.. he should go after Cindy not me. Was it to make her jealous?
Or the fact that when he said he liked me, i said i did too.. but two days later i said i didnt? but that was YEARS ago.

You should just ask him straight up, never know unless you ask right? Perhaps he was just a bit flirtatious with you for a bit just for the hell of it.

Let me just sum it up for you....

Both of you seem very young, and when a young boy says one thing, he will quickly change his mind on a whim.
That is what little boys do, they change their mind like I change my socks...which is very often.

So whatever he says or does...don't take it to heart and over analyze it too much b/c he probably don't even know that he is doing it, and if he does, he is just having fun with it by messing with you and other girls.

Also, he might be playing his games and keeping things open for him. At his age, he doesn't take thing too serious, and he is just trying to be a player in his own mind. If you show that you are buying into his game, he will play you even harder. So why would you let him. Just remember, at your age, do not take things literally, and take it for what it is.

Thinking too much can just screw with your mind and that's what unfortunately many guys and girls do without knowing it at all... but yeah just ask him straight if you have a gut feeling and really want to know. also, what doe putting his feet on your desk have to do with him liking you? explain please?

I feel you! sounds confusing...although it sounds to me that he maybe doesn't like you but likes the reaction or attention you give him. i've never known a guy to be upfront like him...he sounds a bit cocky in the way he says stuff so to me it sounds like he likes you as a friend or he just likes your reaction when he says those things.

I've had those type of times to(I know I have posted before but feel like posting again) Guys in my class found me as an easy target to torment. They would blow me kisses, say: " You are sooo cute!" and be all cheesy. I knew it was a joke and they liked to see my reactions. He might have just wanted to tease you, or maybe he had a thing for you! Dont know, this really IS confusing!

I think you're over analyzing everything. There's no need for that.

I'm sorry, but I see no reasons why this shows he likes you. I'm thinking your young.
The guy behind me always puts his leg on my chair, puts his desk close to mine, and I'm guessing he likes me too (?)
I'm not trying to be mean but come on, let's get real here. If he gave you flowers or passed you a note, maybe then we can paint a picture but just b/c he moves his CHAIR closer, its not a sign -- either this guy just can't sit straight or just has bad sight.
