Ever since yesterday, my best friend says her vagina hurts whenever she uses the restroom. She had sex a few days earlier with her very trustworthy bf(we've been friends since grade school and i know him very well. he's also a nice guy, believe me), but her bf does not have an STD because they've only had sex with each other and always use a condom. Also, his penis is fine and I know for a fact she would never cheat on him.

Anyway, they asked me to post this here with my account since they didn't want to use their own. Her and her bf thinks it's probably because he/she excessively rubbed her/herself down there the last time they had sex, but they would like to know what other people think what the cause might be.

it's probably something minor, like a mild infection. but it may also mean something serious, like infertility if you get an STD. I suggest you check with the doctor.

woah............................wow..........................uhm,....can u describe the pain?...like if its burning then its probably an infection....i dont know how it would hurt if its from excess rubbing

if it's hurting to use the bathroom then it's most likely a urinary track infection.
have her drink lots of fluids to get the bacteria out, water works best and quickest.
If it doesn't get better, i reccomend she see her DR.

UTI or lack of adequate lubrication or lack of appropriate caution. You haven't told us where exactly and when exactly it hurts--does it hurt all the time? Is it sore or actual pain? Is it inside the vagina itself or the area around the vagina? Using the restroom can cause tears around the vagina to become irritated. Tears around the vagina can be caused either by inadequate lubrication or inserting the penis too abruptly into the vagina, thus not allowing the vagina appropriate time to stretch according the penis size; generally speaking, there should be mild swelling accompanying this. It not, then it is probably a UTI and the easiest way to rid yourself of an UTI is to take antibiotics prescribed by a doctor.

If it feels like she needs to pee and it really hurts to pee then it's a UTI which could become dangerous/deadly if not treated with a doctor. If it just hurts.. It might be because they had really vigorous sex?

usually when sex is rough, the area hurts/is sore for up to a few days after..

but i recommend to get it checked out anyway

Thanks for all the replies. She says it hurts when she uses the restroom and that she has to use the restroom quit often lately, so they both came to a conclusion that it's UTI. Now she's drinking lots of water, cranberry juice, and eating fruits and vegies as snacks.

If this continues for over a week, then go visit the gyno - however, after 'rough play', it is pretty common for it to hurt down there. You can try using (or your 'friend') aloe vera containing ointment down there to pacify the redness - there's probably some inflammation down there, too.

I third (/fourth/fifth whatever number it's at) UTI. Get one of those Vagisil screening kits if you want to make sure its an infection without going to a doctor and then if it is, go.
