From what I gather, you're in grade 7. You shouldn't really be worrying over guys at this age, I mean you aren't even out of middle school. IF you are "too shy" to even hold hands with them, or ask them to dance, you shouldn't really be dating.

I say grade eight. And as much I as agree with the whole "young and ish" statements, I could've sworn back in middle school I was yelling myself "NO, I'M NOT TOO YOUNG. IM NOT TOO YOUNG TO BE IN LOVE. WHAT DO YOU KNOW". How wrong I was, but I'm not going to just spite old self.

yeah I'm not in gr 7 d: gr.8.. theres not really a too young unless you're like really young :/ i shouldn't really be dating but what if I like him so much? that's hes all that's on my mind? x_x

I’d have to disagree with you when you say “Theres not really a too young unless you're like really young” Regardless of whether or not you are in grade 7/8, I am CERTAIN that you are too young to have a real love. Your maturity is just not at that level. However maybe I was to quick to judge you on your claim of "loving" him. You are right, it can be love since love is so broadly defined. But until you have deep, indescrible feelings for the person, where you'd accept him for who he is and wouldn't wish to change anything... that is love. Love can develop within four months, but it's not often that it happens. Some people think it's love because they are young and naive.

I wouldn't necessarily drop the L BOMB if you guys only dated for four months, and you guys didn't hold hands, kiss, etc and it even started online! I highly doubt he is the highlight of your life, I mean you're only 13. You have a long way to go. Love is a big big big word.. You will eventually get over him anyways
