I don't know what to do anymore... I really do hope somebody is going to help me out this painful well.

so I've enrolled in this one community college for 2 semesters already; one of which I dropped all my 4 classes because I got sick - it was impossible for me to go to school at that time; and the other semester I retook all those classes. I got 3 A's and 1 painful C.

There was this guy in my school who applied for pharmacy school after about 2 years of taking all the required courses, but he incredibly didn't get accepted just because he had 2 Drop grades on his transcript (the pharmacy school told him so). And I got 4 drop grades and a big C. I'm so screwed .. I don't know what to do..

I'm thinking about re-registering to another community college, but then they're definitely going to ask if i had been in college before and there's no way in hell i can lie to them that i did not, and i had also been told that the drop grades would stay on the transcript forever no matter what I do. And if I retake classes, the repeating time is going to be on my transcript as well.. I am so down !! =( don't know what to do. Please help me! Much, much appreciated !!

Did you get a W or did you grade drop before the W deadline? Most private universities can see the W and would calculate it into their decision.
No you can't "re-register" and hide your previous record, so I suggest you stay at your CC and keep trying. Getting a C will screw up your grades but its not the end of the world, work on getting straight A's for the next year or so. The schools will not make their entire decisions based on your drop...If you show constant improvement and a high GPA, they will turn the other way if you provide a good reason.

Thanks a bunch! You just got my hopes up. tongue.gif I dropped my classes before the drop deadlines, but it was after the first 2 weeks, so the drop grade is automatically on my transcript. what about public universities? Can they see the W? mellow.gif

Generally speaking if the transcript has a W the Uni can see it. You cant escape the grades/notations on transcripts/etc

You know your situation and just because it happened to someone else does not mean that it will happen to you. Do your best from now on and do so well that the admissions has no other reason to deny you acceptance to the place of your dreams.
