Kids will be kids .. haha Sooyoung is a total bully taking the yoyo from Yul though. Also apparently a SSF member spotted Taeyeon even using the knit kit thing we got her haha which is really cute. SNSD is pretty entertaining at times ^^

So the yoyo was what Soshiefied got for YuRi lol. But meany Sooyoung just grabs it off her

Indeed there were quite a few rumours about June mini album. Even that mysterious guy(the one who leaked the 5 sec Gee clip last year) posted that SNSD's activity will overlap with Shinee who starts activity in a week. It's not surprising though because continuous release of minis/singles has been the strategy for top idols in kpop.

For album sales, Soshi is the most stable one!! If you compared with those girl groups now, all their album sales are so down!!
But SNSD though for mini album, they manage to reached 100k which is no one can surpassed them as the top female group in this era..
At least for Gee, they can win digital bonsang!! I don't mind that I just want them to win the best female group so that no one can't thinking negative bout the girls!!
Which is the best award is at GDA!!
I just hope in ove event Soshi will conquered most of the award they nominate for!!
For the best album, are the system is the highest number of sales will win the award?
If that's so, probably none of girl groups have 50/50 chance for the award!
It should be like the quality of the album & the song!!

It's still abit early to say, we have to see wat SM has for the girls to make their 2nd comeback this year, if they give another big impact like Gee did, or at least omost to that level(cos I doubt it's easy to surpass the wat Gee has achieved so far) then they will have a greater chance than ever....

Seriously I think SM might have them to keep with the lively concept(again maybe a little more mature than in Gee) cos usually SM's artists will have a major change in concept when it comes to an full album.... not sure though, we always dunno wat's in SM's mind......haiz.....

anyway, about the new album(s)/single, i honestly think it's gonna be quite hard to surpass 'Gee' in being really catchy & fun (but not annoying).
i'm not saying it's impossible, but it's gonna be a real challenge. especially if the June rumor is true + later on this year, more and more competitions baby.

[05.11.09] Korea&Japan Audition, Over 60% of applicants danced to 'Gee'

translated the SNSD related part of the article...

'E-Tribe', a popular song writer was chosen to be a judge for a Korea & Japan collaborating audition called 'DaeDongKyung Girl'

E-Tribe, who has recently brought SNSD's 'Gee' up to fame will be working with a top producer from Japan as a judge for the audition.

This event is even more meaningful since music producers of Japan's Upfront has been showing interest in working with E-Tribe.

The offline audition held April 10th~12th showed that over 60% of the applicants used SNSD's 'Gee' as their audition piece. The Japanese producers who were judging the applicants couldn't hide their surprise by the overwhelming percentage of SNSD pieces and questioned, "What is 'Gee' that so many girls are showing such fervent interest for it?"

The Japanese representatives stated later; after judging that day, they returned to their quarters and personally looked up the music video then said, "This is indeed an amazing song."

hmm, i hope the girls release a new album this year. it will be a good follow up on GEE's big success.
yeah, i agree that GEE will be hard to surpass or even live up to its success...
its the song that so catchy and danceable.

hope they'll be successful on whatever they release a mini album or full album.
