People has been asking what has the Pilot theme do with Geenie...

Well, I don't know how many of you familiar with a sitcom call "I dream of Geenie" (I think someone post a pics of Geenie when we are waiting for the MV teaser), but the man who is her master is a PILOT or a NASA worker (I also can't remember it correctly)....

Reading through the posts, people mentioned Taeyeons adlibs, i was like 'I didn't hear any?' So i listened again, and
FHJSYAZTYQA. This song definately shows off their vocals more than Gee.
Can't wait for the MV, wonder how the choreography will fit in.
At the start after all the laughs sounds like a car opening, maybe thats where the car comes in the MV?

This is definitely a smart move for sm's part especially since wonder girls will be in america. Its a good time for Girls Generation to get all the spot light. Which I think is smart and cool Because right now they are like one of the older girl groups compared to the new groups and as for awards they might just make it a clean sweep. Brilliant.

Why are people so T_T, right now. Chill, listen to the song release. Everything else will come out eventually. Be fans, don't complain about album covers this or that. All 9 are on the cover regardless of who is standing in front. If it just has Yoona than ok, if it just has Yuri, then all right. Don't take the girls' thunder away with this nonsense please.

On a side note, the thing is when 'Gee' came out the response was "uhhh ok?", people were extremely skeptical, but the moment 'Genie' came out all I saw (from Korean netizens) were positive responses, so already haha I think we know we have a hit in our hands.

This song has an extremely strong "club/summer" feel to it, like I can feel people blasting it at work (rofl eemo said that she was working and some guy near by was already playing the song) as well as in their cars or just dancing to it at the club. To me, this is like a great example as their growth as artists, it shows their versatility and their ability to mature, both conceptually & musically.

Oh and Jessica's new single with PMS is getting a lot of attention from the Korean Media, people are like amazed with her vocals right now, which is strange for me to read because hahaha it's strange how people are only now discovering how talented our girls are when, SONEs have known since the beginning. But "Naengmyun" is gonna be interesting.

I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. The first time I listened to 'Gee', I was like ~, but haha the first time I listened to "Genie", I basically fell in love with how different and intriguing the song is. Good job by everyone that worked to make this possible, it's a wonderful piece.

Even though I haven't heard the other tracks yet, my prediction is that it's gonna be "Genie" + "Girlfriend" + "My Child" for their comeback stage

OMG I love it! The song is so much better than I expected. I have to admit though that my least favorite part of the song was the part in the preview so I was kind of nervous but that part ended up to be only a few seconds long. I also wished that the beginning from the MV preview was in the song also but it wasn't:(
I'm VERY happy with the song. It's not like those songs that other girl groups are coming out with cause they all sound the same.

I think that's because it's a rip from the Music Video. That's why it has the extra stuff at the beginning and the laughing at the end.

my guess is the audio track was lifted from the music video. the version of the song on the mini-album will probably be slightly different but not by much.

i also think different is good because it shows another side of the girls.
also, they don't really have to continue on the hook songs (songs with addictive, repetitive words)
because they already solidified their existence in the music industry... that's what i think.

they change slowly from teenagers to mature women
when we follow them from the beginning feels like we're also in their life lol
from just a bunch of teenagers trying to be in music industry with their bubbly personality
they made some mistake and learn from their mistakes and else

the song is so much different from any of their other songs. i don't think people can say that SNSD can only do one type of genre of music. i am absolutely in love with tell me your wish. they're using more of their i guess sultry voices in the verses. i have a question though. after the chorus, who sings after SeoHyun? i'm almost positive SeoHyun doesn't sing all of that part.

I dont think the song was ripped from the mv. =/ A lot of songs have these types of intros...

plus, the MV version simply wouldnt be as HQ as 320 kbps.
