the new song sounds great. at first i was worried about it tbh. i was worried that it wasn't going to turn out right.
but now, i feel silly for doubting the girls =_- because from the LQ (and i must say, thats LQ LQ aiight. could hardly make up what each of the girls were saying!), i didnt seem to figure out the verses matching up with the chorus!

but i love this song. its definately good, and im looking forward to the dance and performances!

im hoping to see Genie's mini album will continue to be the no.1 on YA's preordering list for more than 14 days.. (which was Gee's record? or more than that? i forgot..)

and Genie is seriously so different than what i can imagine..it does have the similarity of Suju's Its You like how it isnt super catchy type but still makes ppl put it on repeat. I didnt imagine how the song will sound like, and dang the girls amazed me this time. For Gee, its like i like it the first instant, while as for Genie i took 3 listens to enjoy it fully (except for Taeng's adlibs rofll).I like Gee is because of the catchy-ness and it brings a smile to my face but for Genie, its more like the song has much more to give us than Gee..iono how to say but the reason why i had to listen to it for 3 times before i can say i like it is because i probably use the 3 times to take in all the details. How they use a different singing style(the sultry voices), and why the adlibs started coming in from the middle lol...

I find it cute how Sunny sings "shuperstar" and i dont think i can stop spazzing from Taeyeon's adlibs.Totally got goosebumps when i heard it. like ningmeng said, this girl is born to sing.<3

buy Genie, everyone! i can't wait to see what the girls prepared for us in the comeback. I think it should be safe to say that they will be singing more than Genie? since artists that are as big as them at least have 2 songs. Taeyeon's adlibs have to the BEST part of this song. I love the contrast yet great blend between her voice and the background group voice. so nicely done!
